The caves are just too fucking long and ruin the brilliant pacing of the first game. I thought they were awesome at first but even turning the game on now feels like a chore.

They're full of dirty tricks and plenty of traps and this makes them a memorable part of Pikmin 2. I personally think they're fucking great and whoever the guy was that designed the caves deserves a raise for being mad at the world at the time and wanting to inflict pain on players.

Pikmin 1 is a masterpiece that will never be replicated because Nintendo wants to make games for babies.I love ALL of the Pikmin games: 2, 3 and 4 (i loved 4, desu). But, the urgency in Pikmin 1 is unmatchedIt just makes the game fun to replay and to try to keep finishing it in fewer and fewer days.

Pikmin 2 was the best one if you bought it back when it was new. It's fucking huge, and you got the most for your dollar out of the other entries in the series. Now I'm more inclined to play 1 or 3 since they have a faster pace.2 is still excellent, and 4 is a great game despite falling short in what I personally want out of a Pikmin entry, but I just like a faster game.
