When you think about the state of video games in the next 30 years, what do you imagine?

Females become 65% of gamers as they discover AI match-three mobile games that gossip about Meghan Markle while you play
>>722641912I imagine I will still be playing 90s-00s games by then.
>>722641912I imagine the death of Moore's law.
phonefaggots will dominate the market because everyone will be too poor to own a PC, kinda like some third world /v/ermin already
>>722641912With the current technology stagnation Probably the same just more worse
>>722641912Endless amounts of trash
Live generated AI output based on player input. "developers" will decide the bounds of the game in which the AI "engine" is restricted to.
Lots of thing could change in 30 years. LOTS. Just 20 years ago our hardwares were primitive as fuck. A cheap ryzen 5 5600G, sending back to the 2005, would looks like fucking alien tech. The shit we would have in 30 years, cant fuckiong wait
>>72264191210 times worse>duo to AI slop a lot will try to make video games, 99% will fail, so you will need to search through an Ocean of shit to find something decent >the next Unreal engines will be a few times worse, so expect worse remakes and performance>next Gen of console will be full digital, could be last one, then they will make you to rent a virtual console or some shit like that, most likely they will do the same thing on PC aka to rent a PC if you want to play games>mobile games will most likely make 200 billions or more per year >AR/VR and some kind of brain implant will be the next huge thing (imagine like the Matrix), but duo to costs only a few % of people will be able to use them for gaming >10 times the censorship, you will need an ID check to play games with violence or "sex"
Games are already bad, guess AI will take over and we'll mostly be playing remixes of old games, VR still won't be popular.
zoomers playing the exact same live service slop
>>722641912Literally nothing will happen unless IP law is finally killed.Games have effectively been chasing the retro trends that normalfags imprinted on when consoles brought them into gaming for 20 years already, and they're not going to stop.Adding VR to most common sloppa games right now would not be hard when even Bethesda managed an almost usable framework and unofficial mods are capable of making a lot of Unity, Unreal and even Gamecube games into VR among other things. The limiting factor is always going to be the corrupt state of IP law that operates on true globohomo scale and thus can not be interacted with if you are not a globohomo company. Small incremental jumps are the way to make progress, but patents and copyright lock that down for decades or over a century, and no one in the license holding business is interested in interacting with others outside of actual sabotage.
