I know a guy, his hobbies are eating out and drinking. His friends are mostly people like him and restaurant staff. It's wild.

nailed it. I've had a very good time playing vidya this year. Just a bunch of indies and 7+ year old classics for 90% off.

The WIPO and its consequences have been a disaster for human culture as a whole and represent an incurable case of dysentery for the noosphere of humanity by splicing a length of diseased intestine into our means of producing intellectual works.

I remember playing Splinter Cell Conviction and I hated it so much I literally swore to never touch another Ubisoft game ever again. One of the best decisions I ever made. Somewhere around this era.

Also the success of Uncharted single-handedly made Sony change their first party lineup into movie-game garbage shit.

E3, 1995. Say what you will about Nintendo, Sega or any of the others but at least they were primarily game companies. Once a megacorp like Sony with their bottomless cash reserves entered the fray, it was all joever.

Problem is the small restaurants are busy making slop too.
How many fucking roguelite card game metroidvanias can one man stomach?

It's a shame that you're forced to only eat mexican food.
>>

Slop always existed, but it was known as shovelware and didn't infect our triple A kino until the PS3 era.

7th gen obviously
And in some bizzaro way were still stuck in it just with fancier graphics and more braindead devs
