>games lets you be God>realize being God sucks
>>722652046>Rimjobworld>lets you be GodYou do play as tard wrangler, but you are definitely not the God.
>>722652046>worse fortress
>>722652046Is it true they got rid of alpha beavers?
>>722653104heh
>going through my first winter>have plenty of meat and veggies so far>more animals than I can handle>they're still eating grass and just planted flowers on their plotI have muffalos, alpacas, horses, boomalopes and chickensThinking about getting rid of alpacasalso, is it true that I can do fine with 2 chickens per guy in my base?
>>722652046Is there a mod that allows you to build on water?
I really want anyone, honestly anyone, to create a better copy of this game. The developer is getting too cheeky and does bare minimum. is anyone working on a similar game?Monopoly is never good
>>722653714Think there's stone and metal bridge mods that let you place heavy structures on them
>>722652095>enable devmode>you are now GodConcession accepted.
>>722653714I have this installed but I haven't tested it yet https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3560458000>>722653786https://store.steampowered.com/app/2798330/Dungeon_Settlers/
>>722653808Heavy bridges were added to the game. You just have to pay $24.99 for them.
>>722653851And even if you don't pay for them you are forever reminded that the dlc is being sold in game
>>722653838You did not beat the game. You did not generate a story.
So will RimWorld keep getting DLCs forever? The game might end up being more expensive than Paradox games.
>you don't get it, Chud, it's a story generator, not a competitive colony simulatorOh, sounds cool? I guess you've added rich mechanics for interacting with different factions and diplomacy? And colonist relations outside of the colony actually serve a purpose? And faction settlements serve an actual purpose beyond being able to trade with them? And there are meaningful reasons to travel beyond the immediate area of your colony? And completing quests actually changes something in the game world? Oh, I see the answer is no to all of this... Well, at least destroying a nearby enemy base will make them raid you less, right?
>>722653786>betterthat is thing nothing else is better this game is lucky for being carried by mods
Any other colony simutalors out there that do it better than Rimworld? I have like 600 hour in it and need something new to play.
>>722654671kenshi?
>>722654724Kenshi colony sim is super bare bones.
>>722654671dwarf
>>722653104>>722654808Inferiority complex.
>>722653679If you don't need extra pack animals since you already have horses I would get rid of Muffalos since their wool is slightly worse than alpaca wool (+28C insulation vs +30C insulation), 2 chickens per colonists is optimal but they can eat your TPS with how fast they reproduce, you will need to limit the amount of chicks you have with auto-slaughter or have a separate pen for males. And even after all that faffing about they're still a TPS hog since in a colony of 8 there's an additional 16 pawns that the game has to calculate for, my advice is to either get Cows or Yaks since you need only 1 per two colonists (~0.9 per two colonists for Yaks but it's negligible so just go with 1) or get the Milkable Muffalo mod that allows you to milk the lazy blue bastards.
>>722654808nobody falls for this troll recommendation after steam release, just stop brother
>>722654194But I was God. The point of the thread. You lost.
>>722654390Anon if you havnt played the game long enough to see that one of your colonists has a relative in an enemy faction and thus treated them neutrally and even saved one of their members in a 3 way fight only to have them shoot your leader directly in the head after a psychotic break while in their hospital bed causing you to go on to raze every single settlement of that faction from the planet, i dont know what you want from a game like this other than watching different types of number go up.you sound like the type of joyless cunt to itemize and simplify any set of game mechanics you could possibly be presented that would achieve what you want. Royalty addresses some of your listed issues anyway despite the fact its not that great or "rich" in your words
