How does /v/ organize their games library? Steam, gog, EGS even piratefags allowed ITT
organize?
>>722652758Well I mostly took the useless stuff, like the non-original xcoms like apoc etc. and threw them into the "dont want to see this" category, with some of the source stuff.

>>722652789This.I'm not a fucking autist.
Alphabetically is good enough
>>722652789This.
>>722652758Finished, played, dropped, doesn't run on linux
>>722652758last played, every other option is wrong.
Anything I'm playing or about to play in favourites The rest is hidden
>>722652758Sorted by recent and installed. Not the best solution as it means I look back on games from a year ago and think "i should play that again" then see the last time I touched it and think again. And I have a habit of not completing games.
>>722652758>piratefagsD:/Games/
>>722652758I put games into their own categories if there are enough entries to warrant it. Most of the time, I just display installed games and search for what I want.
Backloggery
>>722653179>post negative review of Silksong>account stolen
people who organize games don't play games they just be fantasizing about it really
>>722652758>Uncompleted>Completed>Dropped
>>722652758this plug a GOG games folder and a pirated games folder
>>722652758Alphabetically.
>>722652758I have two categories. Currently installed, and not currently installed. Thats it.
>>722652758
>>722652758Like this:>Buy game I'm interested in >Play it until completion and put it back on the shelf
if you have compiled lists on which games to play then you're not having fun with video games
+ Not Played Yet+ Finished+ Now Playing+ EndlessWhatever I don't like, I remove from my account.>but it's never truly del-Don't care.
>>722652758favorite, backlog, unsorted
I just set Playnite to show only installed games, whenever I need something new to play I just uncheck the setting and press Random button.
>>722654389>Playnite is an open sourceStopped there.
>>722653223You're mixing it up with Backloggd
Genre, but if its a large enough franchise like Star Wars, I keep it in its own section
Generally I sort them by steam sale to shame myself into actually playing them.I have a general backlog of games I know I'm going to play, a category for games I think are "good" which I know I'll eventually play. The humble leftovers category is from when I redeemed a ton of keys all at once and still need to get to sorting it.Uncategorized is bundle trash or games I've finished.
>>722652758>Favorites (installed)>UncategorizedAnd 80% of library that I'll never play again is hidden.Did the same thing on my console libraries; decluttering a mess of a list is hugely satisfying
