Paying 800 bucks for a literal no-gaems toybox that runs modern AAA DEI-trash at "cinematic" 24fps, upscaling from 360p to ""4K"", with obligatory subscription needed to play anything online, is a textbook definition of a toxic scam.

Not to mention Sony's CEO literally stated already 8 years ago that ALL of their 1st and 2nd party games WILL come to PC from now on, because it generates like 4-8 times more money to them. And rest of the shit on Piss5 are multiplat slop.

If you have to get a console, get a second hand series x off ebay. For back compatability.
Returnal is great though.

A PC is a far better investment. Or a laptop. Or a phone.

A console will collect dust.
On a console you are stuck with bad settings, like high resolution.
A PC with the same spec would perform better and to your taste.
And you can do more than play several games with one.

That said you need to be mobile. Aquiring anything is a bad move. Save money. You will need it.
