Kingdom under Fire is the only one I can think of, and it's Korean. I'm struggling to find a Western example. I think one of the Dragon Age games might have played some hard rock during a Darkspawn scene, but I wouldn't put money on it.

DD1 has a lot of weaker metal/guitar/ tracks overall, i prefer the more melodic ambient ones without as much metal/rock in it. even the electric guitars are better there
