>>722661758it's not a legacy franchise. it got a quick trilogy within one gen and got put on ice once it received a shit installment. big sprawling legacy franchises that cover multiple generations and switch up their gameplay to keep up with trends are hotbeds for obnoxious fandom. because you always have subdivisions of the fandom that infight over when the series was at its best. Dead Space is also nowhere near as popular as your other examples and we all know a smaller dedicated following is king.
