the fact that the devs purposefully gave the player a "press to win" button is proof in itself that they knew the game was unbalanced as shit, not to mention that the game actively punishes the player when they try to learn the pattern and defeat the bosses fairly. When the game wastes your time with annoying runbacks and gauntlets before a boss, you feel more compelled to cave in and use the "press to win" button because the challenge is quite simply full of bullshit.

Regardless boss runbacks in this game don't really add in challenge and a lot of them boil down to "run past the enemy" and there to waste your time. And for the ones with a runback with some semblance of a runback like Last Judge have the challenge undermined by how you can just use the cocoon at your death to heal off any damage taken during a runback.
