It was based, longer than expected and had some comfy extras like the bike customization and camp songs by Zander Reese. I think a sequel could've improved on some things but you need a truly special story for that and I felt the story was good not quite great

Game takes too much time to properly start
You’ll have to suffer through a 10-15 hours painfully boring slog before getting good weapons and being able to take on hordes (aka the main gimmick of the game)
