It's basically Retail- with a heavy dose of Ascension's trademark custom sloppa. Surprisingly fun, but only if you like sugary drinks. The quality of the custom content is actually pretty impressive, and caught me off guard with how well its all put together (their custom Goldshire blows Epoch's out of the water, for starters). But, the custom content is already starting to run dry by level 30 -- so we'll see if it's just like Epoch where they really frontload all the custom quests and sub-areas.The one BIG pro is that the mythic enchant system looks to provide some real variety for buildcraft, which is nice.
People keep saying its like retail and that most of the loot barely feel valuable. If leveling is easy nukes and you just teleport to dungeons spamming RDF, then I am hesitant to give this a try and fail to se the appeal to this for classic players.

As someone who actually likes the gamey-ness of retail, but dislikes the fleeting seasonal design where only the very current patch of very current content matters, this server offers an alternative of retail-style gameplay/systems without the wasteful content abandonment -- but that's assuming that they stick to their guns and keep it at 60, like they've said they will do.

>>722674789you get a lot of loot all the time. every mob drops its "gear" that it looks like it'd have equipped then you find world drops places on the map. RDF has no leave penalty so it's pretty fucking gay unless you join a premade. It gives a lot of exp but I think you want to do quests still because it gives you the ascension currency that you need for mechanics.
