Silent Hill 3 follows the 90s horror film sequel trope formula of killing the old protagonist in the sequel and the protagonist mantle goes to their relative or son/daughter. Silent Hill 1's film (and by extension SH3) was a female power fantasy movie, although Cheryl/Alessa was wronged she ultimately gets revenged and power trips pretty hard about it. Silent Hill 1 the game was more or less standard lost child parent finding trope, with the otherworldly aspects being a metaphysical match between Alessa a psychic conduit harnessing the spooky HP Lovecraft inspired grounds of Silent Hill and her schizo cult mother. In Silent Hill 1 (movie/game) the lost child was half the soul of Alessa. Once they merged the original person was trying to prevent her cult mother from waking up an Old God, they did this by subconsciously making efforts to keep her father away from reaching her. Alessa's mom was using Harry Mason to find Cheryl Mason which would immediately kick off their cult apocalypse. All of this would've been easily pulled off if Alessa had just told her father this, but whatever, she's a teenager.Silent Hill 3 builds off this by concluding the cult storyline. The people who push abortion, unplanned pregnancies, etc are just vapid Redditors and zoomers who live off YouTube essays. Virgin birth is a staple in religions. There was no panic attack scene about Heather realizing she was carrying an otherworldly cult God. She wasn't telling the private eye Douglas that she was pregnant and complaining about "men wanting to touch her". There are so many "woke" aspects of Silent Hill 3 that people just *made up* because this is what they listen and read from Reddit HRT trannies and YouTubers. There's no abortion manifesto in the game, there's no I HATE MEN cutscene. It's probably the most the conservative horror games given how far Heather goes to honor her father.Silent Hill 1, Silent Hill 3 > dogshit > Silent Hill 2. Fuck Reddit and YouTubers and trannies.
