Playing Quest mode would probably be pretty fun, but I can only imagine how ridiculous the PvP would be if the "take everything seriously and treat it like a 1 million dollar tournament" crowd got into it. Even watching youtube videos of the 20 or so people who still play NOX in this day and age is already several steps up from how it used to be. Expected, of course, but still.
