They also fucked the pacing of the game with level scaling enemies and the new cyberware system.

The gameplay loop gets repetitive very fast, there isn't any interesting way to do missions. its all about how are you gonna show up and murder this group of gang members/corpos. There isn't any incentive to approach one job differently than the other, you get the same results if you tear down the doors as if you hack them. They added a system if the gangs in certain areas dont like you they'll start shooting but they didn't flip the coin over. It doesn't matter how many eddies you get for maelstrom through how many fixers, if one of their camps has what you need, fry 'em all and grab it. There is a lot of missed opportunity with the gangs and the fixers.

Enemies "outlevel" you because they instantly upgrade their cyberware and weapons, while the player might not be in a spot to get better equipment yet, resulting in the player having to actually grind more.
And perks are pretty much completely irrelevant after 2.0.

Well, yeah. BF6 is a major preorder success despite everyone prior to the beta saying "DONT GIVE EA YOUR MONEY, DONT PREORDER!" They gamble with their wallets now to gacha methods. Give the people a solid beta to play with for a couple weeks and I guess thats enough to buy them out. Another trick is pre-ordering some epic bullshit edition with "future content release" and ends up being only a year of content before a new season pass is required to buy. This trick seems to keep the game at a higher price in the longterm.

Now THIS game was an absolute assfest at launch, and I'm glad I didnt bother thinking about buying it for years. Reminds me of watchdog at launch too. I've committed to the "Don't buy at launch, wait for a good sale" and its saved me from a lot of stupid mistakes with these fucking companies falling apart after their first few successes.

1. Shut the fuck up. Previously, the perks were crap like "deal 10% more damage after a successful knife throw for the next 3 seconds", now it's stuff like "Deflect bullets with your katana" or "Create a shockwave with your blunt weapon".
Of course, retarded numbercel perks would let you create builds that deal hundreds of thousands of damage even after the major balance patches. But that's not fun. That's just mental retardation and the Polish mathematic school being fucking stupid.
2. Instead of complaining about enemies outleveling you (level scaling prevents this you mongoloid), you can instead yap about equally retarded shit like the game not having a sense of progress. As if random Valentino goons in the prologue area one-shotting you was good. So yes, it's a fix, the only way to fix the game without redoing it completely.

Literally nothing substantial changed. They just slightly changed the way leveling up works. If you played it in 2020 and didn't experience any gamebreaking bugs there's no reason to replay it aside from the DLC
