I haven't pre-ordered a game for years out of principle but I've recently discovered how pointless it is to buy these, and I'll demonstrate:
-exclusive skins quickly become not exclusive; if even just 40% of players run around with them, you get tired of seeing them and they become a token that (to me) says "I wasted my money" -- most people don't wear these into the third week of the game release because you unlock shit in-game that actually takes time and sometimes some effort to unlock (depending on the game)
-battle pass tier skips? I mean this is just content provided to you that should be available through progress anyway, they're robbing you of content and re-selling it to you
-weapon skins aren't even really seen by other players, and you're going to grow tired of them three weeks in just like the soldier skins
-"and more" = "more garbage", need I say more

if you somehow see any of these things as a measure of bragging, you've just proven to everyone that you're a brainless cashcow for these big companies to milk
