>>722706978Install now
>>722706978praise be upon ye for ye have found the light be at peace now and install mint. but if ye heart is filled with vigor, then ye may yet be able to achieve debian. do not falter, my child.
>>722706978how?
>>722706978I'll force you to install Gentoo, instead.
>>722706978Install fedora kde instead
>>722706978install arch, take control of your computer
>>722706978just live in europe bro you get a free extra year
>>722706978If it takes you a week to install mint then I don’t think Linux distros are for you
>>722706978Why are you NIGGERS installing mint of all fucking things? Jfc behead every dipshit on this god forsaken board.
>>722708354Sell me on CachyOS.
>>722708624Bleeding edge drivers and kernel. Everything is autistically optimized out of the box. It's unironically the best distro for gaming. They even have a handheld edition for, you guessed it, handhelds. Just refer to their site for more info:https://wiki.cachyos.org/cachyos_basic/why_cachyos/
>>722708905Do I have to be aware of anything if I want to use AUR?I will try it out, when I wake up.Now it's time to sleep.
>>722706978Wait until Zorin 18 is out. Zorin is practically Ubuntu/Linux Mint with even more things (like WINE and the different ways to install apps) preconfigured for you.
>>722706978You don't really care that much about Windows's telemetry, and learning new things is taxing. It would be the path of least resistance to just upgrade to Windows 11.On the surface, it's pretty much the same as Windows 10, save for some superficial changes. So it will be like barely anything changed at all. You spend a maybe an hour or two, learning how to turn off telemetry and one drive, and then go back to business as usual.
>>722711859it takes a few seconds to literally just uninstall one drive
>>722706978Install Arch
>>722706978Try formatting a flash drive on Linux
>>722707331>Do I have to be aware of anything if I want to use AUR?Just don't be dumb, and be mindful of what you grab from the AUR because shit might break out of nowhere, and always read the PKGBUILD before installing anything to your system
>>722712736was for >>722710056
>>722712736sauce, rotoscoper
>>722712736>>722713064So the usual>Just don't be retardedThat's fine. I'm used to making backups with Linux, because I always fuck something up.I've already downloaded the ISO and made live USB.
I'm just sticking with W10. Installing LTSC takes too much effort for a brainlet like me and 11 is unusable.
Seems like it would be a more demanding challenge to stop you taking estrogen for a week, frogxister.
>>722713885How do you know this shit?
>>722707331>google it>first result is picrellinuxsisters........
>>722706978>too poor to afford windows like everyone else
install templeOS instead
>>722714928>paying for windows
>>722715109BAsed
>>722713448yup, that's the idea, the first thing you should do, I highly recommend is update and make a system backup with Timeshift before you install anything else, so you have a clean copy to roll back toI found that Arch can break due to human error. I myself have broken my ISO 3 times, all of which were my fault during something stupid like a dumb ass, but if you are careful, read the documentation on ArchWiki when you run into a problem, overall you're sure be good in for a good time
