I finally played it with the remaster last year and I am still shocked at how abysmally dogshit Tomb Raider 2 is, except for three levels towards the end of the game. 2 is pure sequel slop where they just spam gimmicks like vehicles that control like ass and way too many enemies in lieu of actual ideas for improving the game

Did they remove Galactic Conquest in 2? That was a cool mode, love the idea of strategically conquering the galaxy, unlocking new units and vehicles as you go. I think a more expanded version of this could be the basis of a whole game
