Anyone excited for Maplestory Classic?
I have been building a gigantic playlist of albums, video essays, documentaries, and many more. I am prepared for the grind.I just don't know what class to play. I'm teetering between Page and Spearman.
I just want maparu story 2 back bros..
Will the tryhards ruin the game? I just want to grind and do PQ at my own pace.I fucking hated that when WoW Classic first launched many years ago.

NLC, Mushroom Shrine, Singapore, NLC, Maple Weapons, the entire 4th job in general, NLC, the worthless LUK stat on Magicians, Carnival PQ, did I mention fucking NLC? All of that shit broke the game in half (some more than others, NLC) when they were released and the power creep just kept skyrocketing. Starting from ground zero gives them a chance to do it properly.Granted, it's a long shot. This IS Nexon, after all. But Maplestory is still free to play at the end of the day so it's okay to have a little hope.

Balance changes have already been confirmed, and it looks like Nexon is improving weak skills and historically underplayed jobs. So it's likely you won't have to worry about getting denied entry to PQs.
Making alts to farm glove attack scrolls and restarting that economy.

So you don't have to worry about auto clickers, trackers, or any of that gay shit. The fact that they hired Nemi (the original lead dev for MapleStory) should tell you they're serious about making a good classic experience.

Warm take; MS peaked in ver 0.8X-0.9X with Ulu city added, Alien event, Aran, Evan, Ninja Castle DRPQ. and even a bit after Big Bang released with Mechanics. only thing that finally ruined it was pay2win cubes
