I think a lot of people still don't get the appeal of the Switch which is why Switch 2 will eventually outsell Switch 1. The appeal of the Switch is ultimately that it makes playing games more convenient than any other system out there. That is not something quantified by numbers and you have to play it to get it. I understood its appeal like 5 hours into BOTW and have not looked back. Now it feels like a step backwards when I have to play on a tethered console that doesn't automatically sleep and restart where I left off. Switch 2 wins in convenience and exclusives which is why Nintendo is now market leader
