Hornet is a lot more agile than the Knight, she can heal in midair, sprint, use a needle harpoon to grapple far away targets and pull herself towards them, etc. This means that the platforming sections are slightly different in several places because you're expected to make use of said mobility. I wouldn't say they're harder, just different. Also you have the ability to swap between slightly different movesets, some of which change the way your downward pogo works. The default moveset is a diagonal downward dive, for instance.
