>Yotei sold 45% less than Tsushima in Japan in the first week.
It's over?
>>
Hating women aside it literally looks like the exact same game as Tsushima

shes about 30 years too old for the Japan audience
>>
But there were dozens of threads saying it was a huge hit there, what happened??

If you mean this.
Well probably sold well there, in that specific region, at that time of the day.

Woman aside, I don't get the setting.
The first game took a famous historical event (for the japanese at least) and build a game around it
Yotei is just another revenge story that could happen anywhere.

>a review says that Tsushima was a love letter to Kurosawa and Yotei is like Netflix trying to imitate Kurosawa

>locals are hoping this will draw more tourists to the reigion

and that's how you instantly knew this grifter was full of shit
Japan has been cracking down on tourism as a whole over the last few years because the locals fucking hate how tourists act, and I don't blame them, the amount of rude, arrogant Americans, alcoholic Brits, and raping Indians will put anyone off of tourism

But I guess he meaned "local" tourists?

A anti-woke youtuber who's never left Wisconsin will explain everything in detail and nuance

Wisconsin makes cheese that wins vs some of Europe's best in their own contests though
Where you live made you, so it automatically loses

I guess the Ghost name is like The Crow, where anyone can be a Ghost after cheating death (the Crow being someone is resurrected after death). So I don't care it's a revenge story, I care they HAD to put that female dike ANTIFA loving non-binary piece of shit in the main role. Why? Who is she? Why did they do it? Because of activism and giving special privilege to someone. I'll say it for the 20th time, they could have just designed a unique female character and sold triple the amount of copies by now even with the same story. Although I don't know if they story is dog shit or not. Could a 100 pound Meiko Kaji really sword fight and fend off 20 dudes at once? Probably not but in the movie she could and did. I don't give a shit about that, I can suspend my disbelief.

Those were all obviously cope lying, as always with these gay people "games".

It's really quite a shame. I have been telling much of my friend group to visit while everything is still accessible since they're cracking down on it. I understand there are parts of Gion that are now blocked off because of noisy tourists. It's a real shame, Japan's a beautiful country and a wonderful place to visit. Nara is probably the most quiet, comfortable place I have ever visited that wasn't strictly a secluded island.

Japan literally doesn't matter. For the longest time they became a nation who only engage with phone games and switch games.
