Do you think they came to good terms at the end of Link's journey, bearing in mind that Link came back to the past with knowledge of Mido's remorse?
>>722841802Why would link even go back to Kokori? He went to look for Navi?
>>722842091Whether or not he was a Kokiri by race it was still the only home he had ever known. That's a lot to leave behind, even if he had to accept that he wasn't going to be able to live there any longer. I like to think he went back one last time, explained the truth about what the Deku Sprout told him in the future, and said a final farewell on his own terms.
>>722841802Didnt they all party together at the end of OoT? Its been forever since I played it.
>>722841802Maybe. I contend that the sages aren't perma-dead, though.
>>722841802DunnoLikely at least came to some kind of mutual understanding of each other.Mido was mostly just jealous of Link>>722842815There was a big party, but Link wasn't there. That was in the adult timeline if I recall
>>722842815They did but that party took place in the adult future, so the past Link was returned to by Zelda had none of that happen.
>>722842880>Mido was mostly just jealous of LinkWhy? Mido seems irked by Link's friendship with Saria because he probably wanted to make the moves himself but other than that he always talked down to Link as the kid with no fairy.
>>722842969because of the attention/favor Link was given by Saria and the Deku Tree
>>722842840Adult future again (although you're right). Child Link's era didn't have a tainted Sacred Realm so the new sages weren't needed.
>>722841802>>722841802They do in the manga (Link even gets his first sword from Mido), and in the game he says that he wants to apologize to Link for treating him poorly.I never understood why he’s always considered “one of the biggest jerks in gaming”.
>>722841802I like to think that Link couldn't resist fucking with Mido by making up a bunch of shit about his future.>You end up as a crossdressing prostitute, servicing men in Castle Town's back alleys for crack. Sorry buddy. Guess we can't all be chosen heroes.
>>722843113Probably because it's perceived that Mido (and the rest of Kokiri Forest) knew the truth about Link's real identity but bullied him in spite of it, treating him like an outsider even though he didn't know that about himself.Of course this assumes that the rest of Kokiri Forest's inhabitants were already matured by the time Link came to live in their community and saw him grow up when they were already as grown as they would ever be (which is a fair assumption to make).
>>722843723Mido probably knew that Link was gonna end up fucking his way through the community when he grew up.
>>722844023Seriously it was probably for the best that Link skipped puberty because can you imagine what that would be like for him, going through puberty in a place where nobody even knows what puberty is?
>>722845652The Kokiri are aware of regular Hylians and how they differ. You can even talk to Kokiris who are jealous of ordinary Hylians' ability to grow.
>>722846365Still, who the fuck is gonna sit down with Link and have The Talk with him? God, to be a fly on the wall.
>>722846629Y-you think Saria showed Link the female body and how everything looks?Maybe?
The Kokiri seem like they'd be a relatively social race with the rest of Hyrule if not for their paranoia of leaving the forest. If Hylians would come to them they probably wouldn't turn down the opportunity.
Fado is trans.
>>722841802>"adult" OOT Link>still 17 instead of 21
>>722847593Actually I think he's 16 in the future, since he leaves home at 9, not 10.
>>722843113Because buzzfeed-tier list writers only play the first 20 minutes of games and don't remember details or things that happen later in the game that aren't shoved in their face. Same thing as people that accuse tom nook of being a thieving bastard.
I want to be the judge of Mido and Link's dick size contest...
>>722849350This you?
>>722849468We all know the reality...
>>722841802>>722842604wasn't he unable to go back there because navi left him?
>>722850210Why would that matter? He was in the forest for years without a fairy
>>722850268because his mom left him there
>>722850301His mom didn't have a fairy either
>>722841802Yeah he'd want to have remorse wouldn't he ? A centuries old little midget man bullying an actual child, sad fuck.
>>722841802Link fucked off to look for Navi as soon as Zelda sent him back to his original timeline, and after he finally accepted that she's gone he moved to Lon Lon ranch to impregnate Malon and eventually have TP Link as his descendant.
>>722850210Where is that stated? Navi leaving is one of the last things that happens in the game, it can't be said whether that impacted the relationship he had with the Kokiri (I don't see why, as >>722850268 said, and he wasn't going to live in Kokiri Forest after the events of the game anyway so it makes little difference).
Why the hell did Navi just leave anyway?Without saying ANYTHING to LinkLike wtf?
>>722850332>>722850645ok I got confusedI was referring to the fact that people without fairies become stalfos in the lost woods, but apparently not on their way to the kokiri forest
>>722850749It was supposed to be like "my job here is done" (since she helped Link on his journey and he's not a Kokiri - the racist bitch).
>>722850926Well it was a dick move considering Link left Hyrule to look for her bitch-ass
>>722849350>>722850058Kek.
>>722850974I don't disagree. Not only did Link lose a good friend (and one of the only relationships from Kokiri Forest he could have held onto) for no real reason that left him hollow enough to go look for her but he lost one of the only people who could relate to his whole "forced aging" ordeal when all the relationships he cultivated as adult Link had vanished into nothing when he was kicked backwards in time (since she was there through it all and would remember it the same as him).
>>722851276>all the relationships he cultivated as adult Link had vanished into nothing when he was kicked backwards in timeLike? He really didn't interact with others beside the sages in a meaningful way.
