I enjoyed the more focused, linear sections. The side questing was all horrid fetch quest trash that served no purpose, and pretty much the entirety of both of the wastelands sucked ass. The final stretch of the game was the best and the worst part at the same time. Really cool boss fights and set pieces, but the story and writing were genuine 2/10. Nobody would care about this game if not for EVE and the outfits and that's okay. I hope Stellar Blade 2 iterates and is a lot better because it has potential.

Then it got better and more fast-paced with some upgrades done and exploration stuff. Then exploration got tedious with the desert being as it is and there being no way to traverse it faster (and most of the quests literally repeating themselves). And then the latter part got all over the place. Oh, and the platforming was terrible at times, sometimes Eve missing the poles or gaps reminded me of these early 2000's games that would just infuriate you for no reason. I'd give it a solid 6/10.
