I recently (this week) just started playing HoMM3 again after 15 years.I've never played any of the HoMM3.5 fanmade stuff like HotA. Should I? I want new maps but all the player made maps are for the modded shit.

Can I play dragons in HOMM?
To anyone playing Olden Era demo, do you try and go for Subclasses or just pick value skills? Honestly I can not tell if they are worth going for or bait for Dungeon...>>722907130There are dragons but there is no dragon centric faction. Dungeon is an alliance of various underground monsters and has Cave/Black/Ashen Dragons as their final unit, and possibly the best recruitable unit in the game. Some units like Lich Dragons are better but you also can't actually recruit them.
Starting to get it now, I just can't throw battles away like that, since I need to prioritize taking key resources...
