Never thought I'd see something more pathetic than watching streamers play games but AItards disappoint me yet again.

Is this confirmed? He's been offline after dev's forgotten about it before

That was once when the retard went out on vacation or something. During this run it has happened multiple times, just this week.

It could be the beginning of the end. I don't know how their investors let them continue this bullshit, it makes their model look useless.
>>

normalfags don't give a shit about "muh harnesses" they just want results. and claude isn't producing results.
>>
>>722985730
That's what I said. If I had put any money into that I'd be telling them to shut it the fuck down.
>>
Claude's still going after all this time? I tapped out after the second reset. It's a cool idea but he was always missing that spark that could let him do it that the other AIs cheated in.
The dev should have pivoted to some kind of battle simulator, I remember the AI was surprisingly good at battles.

What fucking stream were you watching? Claude, especially early on, often completely misread enemy health bars, how many mons they had left, and got the elemental matchups completely wrong. The only reason he did well is because RBY is pathetically easy and most trainers don't even think, just using skills at random.

None of these AI experiments are truly what they should be anyway if you want to show off the advancements in AI.
They should use a knowledge base that is 100% clean of any Pokemon data, to test how well it can incorporate a completely new microcosm of information, rules and mechanics from playing the video game and running its own experiments within the video game.
Also, the input should be a video feed, not a RAM state, interpreting the image and creating its own system to structure the data, understand menus, identify game states, and create the structures of memory it requires to navigate the map, build up its knowledge base of pokemon, types, moves, items and npcs, and use those effectively.
We're probably far off from even getting our first Pokemon with these restrictions, but that's the test I'd like to see.
>>
>All while GPT and Gemini finished their respective games
AI advancements are padded by cheating and cherry-picking. The AI bubble is the only thing keeping the US economy from total collapse right now, so they're going to make it look like it can do anything easily no matter how honest that is.
>>
>>722987150
you have a gross misunderstand of what AI is and how "advanced" it is
AI isn't intelligent, it's a glorified slot machine constantly calculating the probability of the range of moves it has available to it. making a knowledge data from the ground up would cause an excess of garbage data that would frequently cause miscalculations/hallucinations.
same shit with giving it a video feed, effectively a huge cluster of images, way too much information to parse in a reasonable timeframe
an AI without guidance, a harness, or internet search access would be dumber than a toddler.
remember: the earliest version of Claude wasn't even able to leave the starting room without help.

They'd have to retrain the whole thing using data that someone has checked to not contain references to Pokemon and that's honestly not worth doing. A much easier thing to do would be to make a completely new RPG for it play.

That's the main reason why Claude was forced to pull all the VODs. If you enter the stream, you'd think he's several hours into the game, and is slowly making progress through it. With VODs, you can see that he had spent 3 months spinning on Gio's tiles like a complete retard.

>>
>>722990998
That's the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Removing VODs was a scummy move. Fuck Anthropic. I can't believe I used to shill for them.
>>
>>722991075
Man, 4.5 Sonnet is garbage compared to 4.1 Opus. 4.1 blazed through it without digging once.

I was doing step comparisons at checkpoints, and 4.5 was better up until Mt. Moon's segment, then slowed down to molasses afterward.

Hoping the plug is not permanently pulled, so I can do another comparison between Opus models. Just the steps achievement progressions, since I know it will never get pass the Rocket Hideout.
>>
>>722991173
I sorta understand them. This is making them look really bad. But at the same time, it killed my enjoyment of the stream completely. I'd take screenshots every few hours of major parts of the stream. Now, I'd have to watch it constantly 24/7 to not miss anything. If they'd kept just the past 48 hours up, I'd be happy with it. Not long enough to make Claude look bad, but enough VOD to make people catch up (and most importantly, rewind) and not miss out on anything.

I suspect it's the same for everybody as well. Viewership dropped like a rock, and threads barely get any posts after VODs got removed.

I'd still drop by from time to time, and especially pay more attention when a new model comes out.

Yeah that sounds about right. I remember people were impressed with how quick Claude V was, earlier on, despite the notably stupider yapping. At least it didn't take a minute to <Think> like Opus, I guess.
>>
We'd have to wait until Monday to know if it's truly dead or not. Since the guy is running it on a work machine.

ignoring that the point of this stream isn't really entertainment so much as it is an AI marketing stunt, you understand there is a balance between fumbling around a dungeon for a few hours and getting stuck in the same puzzle for a month only to restart the game, blitz through the early game you've already seen him go through YET AGAIN in 5 days, and then getting stuck in the exact same fucking puzzle for another month, right?

That's what makes it fun though. It's like watching a three-legged race. We didn't evolve to hop around tied together like retards but it's funny when we fall over. See: gemini, GPT, every other shitty ripoff stream with a """harness""" that just solves the game for them
