Lots to fiddle with, lots to grind, lots to do.The console title is a port of the arcade game which is Fun but not quite the same experience (it was made for their arcade scene and is a 3v3 game) and is missing nearly all of the stuff from the PSP titles, but does have a story campaign with cool boss fights and some roster appearances exclusive to it (Ramza and Ace being the standouts) and the other game in the series was a mobile title that is now dead, a lot of people seemed to enjoy that one since it adapted Dissidia's unique mechanics to a turn-based RPG and let you unlock all the characters for free (gacha was equipment with skills).This new one is we dunno yet.

Especially when they start pairing off making new friends and rivals its really cool to see them all blend into the mishmash setting.Gameplay wise (in the PSP versions at least) a lot of characters retain unique mechanics from their original games incorporated into their moveset, plus all their special moves call back to iconic moments with even old command inputs (Tidus has to do his Overdrive command from FF10, Lightning has her Paradigm Shift system to switch movesets like job roles, Prishe uses skillchains, the FF12 characters use their Quickenings with the same inputs animations and camera angles recreated, so so many examples of this) there are not many games with so much love for a series poured into it as Dissidia Duodecim has.You can see by the state of the thread how mad people are that they veered away from the PSP games.
