How the fuck did they get away with this shit

yeah
the steam verions also run like shit
i managed to have them run nicely on PCSX2 with widescreen support but the newest update destroyed that as well with it now featuring a weird grid overlay.
i hope that gets fixed soon with a new update
but if you have a kinda powerful pc and get a older version of PCSX2 it works great.

Why not just use fightcade?

ps2 version also had a shitload of input lag

i mean yeah yeah just use FBNeo but like this is an official release it shouldn't be THAT bad. That's worse than anything I've ever seen. That's gotta be at least like 20 frames

well you are able to work around it with pcsx2 by upping the hardware power.
it really felt great until the last update when like I said now you get some really werid gridoverly.
but only if you play the actual game, in the menu select it all still looks normal
I will have to wait and see if a new update fixes that or I will have to switch to an older version

Because they're not proper ports, they're using a (badly programmed) propietary emulator put together in a few weeks using stolen code.

Use Retroarch with Final Burn NEO core and overclock that CPU + frame ahead for less input delay than original hardware.
