Play into COD’s quick “die respawn die” trope by having 1 team be a charging attacker over no man’s land and the other defending against the rush. When an attacker is killed have them respawn back at there they’re side of the trench but can only charge again at set times in waves. During this downtime they could shoot from the trench or make use of artillery/gas abilities that, depending on how well they did during their last charge, would work similar to kill streak rewards.

Also DLC zombies alternative campaign that is shorter but still fleshed out kind of like RDR1 with accompanying multiplayer mode for free. Pretty much nothing short of that would bring me back.
