Do people hate 3 (anime, not v3)? Saw some posts saying Chiaki is flanderdized but not really anything else of substance. I thought 3 had a lot of really REALLY stupid moments but mostly in the future arc. Past arc was pretty inoffensive apart from not really having a compelling reason why the 2 cast went to shit. Like it's been a hot minute but from playing 2 I had thought Junko emotionally manipulated everyone into becoming the worst versions of themselves, while 3 retcons it into just bRaInWaSh. But what's weird is I thought the mini death game with the student council WAS a pretty compelling showcase of how Junko can manipulate and snowball a situation. Same with the subplot about the reserve class, with them being treated as second class whose funds are used for human experimentation, and how they can be manipulated into an angry mob.
