How do you deal with fomo in videogames? Each week a new game appears and we want to play almost everything, im still playing Silksong and since i started a lot of games came out...
I have a job and family and i cant play like before

I dont give a shit about your problems, normgroid.
>>
What are you wven scared of missing out on? Silksong will still be the same game three years down the line. What does it matter if you play it right now versus a year from now?
>>
>>723459690
FOMO only matters for online games or hyped episodic mystery VN releases where the real game is to make up your theories and share them with others. Nobody felt FOMO for silksong

still in act 2 of Silkfaggot. collecting all the shit before getting to act 3. its long game. i'm at 114hrs now lol.
>>
What the fuck are you scared of?
>>
Just try the game, theres big chance you wont even like it. I tried hades 2 and my fomo dissapeared after 1 run
>>
>has a family and job
>still worried about not 'keeping up' with the zeitgeist
Must suck to suck
>>
playing silksong the first two weeks with /v/ was kino

It genuinely puzzles me how normies operate, I have a few as Steam friends who always without fail buy every single hyped up game and seem to play them for a week tops until the next hype drops. Do they ever even finish these games?

i've only bought 2 games in total that have come out in 2020 or later
because i'm satisfied with what I have, unlike whales who need to constantly buy the next thing

Most FOMO games don't appeal to me. In fact I never buy any game on launch.

When you get old enough you realize they're all shit and not bothering with, only brainless normalfags blindly buy into the hype, best seen with how excited they were for Silksong even though they never played HK and then bitched about the difficulty

What you should be lamenting is the fact we missed out on having good games, or not living through more of the golden age of games

somewhere out there there's a dad with a family playing a game about a bug in a dress

My backlog goes back to the playstation era.
Currently playing Person 5R.
Don't care if the game is new just care its good.
>>

It actually occurred to me that literally no good game came out this year. At least Space Marines 2 came out last year.
Wow gaming really is dead, isn't it.
>>
>>723462016
Damn, that's so embarrassing! It would be so much less cringe if he played a game about a burly father who became a better man.
>>
>>723459690
>OP doesn't have a family or a job and is just fedposting as per 95% of /v/ posts. Just government mindgames for autistic losers.
>>
>>723459690
What FOMO? The game is not going to disappear, you can play it 10 years from now and it'll be the same. This is pure retardation.
>>
>>723462070
yes you are right
>>
>>723459690
just tell devs on twitter that you want to pay devs more, for less content and you are not kidding
