i always have a very hard time making these I've played so many games narrowing it down to just 9 is nearly impossible, but if I have to these are the most influential in my life.FFXI - I played it so much as a teenager I was addicted to it and have deep nostalgia for it to this day, it was my entire social life as I was an outcast in high school. Halo 2 - similar because it was a huge part of my adolescence and my real first experience online gaming with other people. Metroid Prime - The atmosphere and music sucked me into the world and I've played it so many times over the years. OoT - because like above it truly is one of the greatest of all time and a massive part of my childhood. Tiberian Sun - I learned about C&C because I saw my cousin playing it on his computer once back in the 90s, asked him what it was and I had to have it immediately so I got my dad to get it for me and I spent so much time playing it. Mass Effect - I know there's things better about 2 and 3 (yes I even love that game too), but the first one has such powerful nostalgia for me. KOTOR2 - played it on the original xbox along with the original, still one of my all time favorite games and it deserves its reputation. Roller Coaster Tycoon - I spent so much time playing this with my best friend as a kid, we would take turns on his computer building roller coasters, I eventually got my own copy. I don't think I was ever able to beat the final scenario but I beat most of them on my own. I liked the scenarios in 1 over 2 even though 2 has so much more customization and rides. Human Revolution - Invisible War was my first Deus Ex game back on the original xbox, but this is still my favorite one and it's a damn shame that the franchise is fucking dead. The one thing about all of these games is that I still listen to the music from them to this day and think about them.

Pretty challenging too on the hardest difficulty, not impossible but a few of the bosses will give you problems unless you're a god at metroidvanias. you don't even need to play as the prince's default model, you can change it to sands of time prince and the default one only appears in cutscenes.
