Album Art Poll edition

Last thread: >>723457146

Album Art Polls. There's 2 because we caught rigging right away, just vote both and the data will get watched. If there's rigging, ignore it and vote on the ones you want, it will get figured out.
https://strawpoll.com/w4nWWmG0xnA
https://poal.me/wianz7
These polls should run until >>723525883 is 24 hours old.

>How do I contribute?
SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED!
You can look in the thread or Spreadsheet for a song to edit. Album art or art for songs are welcome, too! And you can even make videos for the songs that are already made! You can also time lyrics to help get the stream and download files ready sooner!

I want YOU to videofag for /v/ the Musical!
>What's videofagging?
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAX8JHUJcFR2gh_WG3YJBITuO-tODVCcJ
You make music videos for songs! You make anons laugh and immortalize your beloved songs. Any skill level is welcome. I had 0 editing experience whatsoever before I started editing for the musical. You can videofag for songs you wrote, sung, edited, or had nothing to do with!
>What's the deadline?
There's no deadline. Videofagging can be done year round. We play the year's videos on the annual stream. You can choose to do them during musical month if you want. Send a link to the YouTube to greeneanon@gmail.com when done to be added to the playlist!
>Which songs can I do?
Any. They don't have to be from this year. You can do a year II song if you want!
>How do I videofag?
Pirate a program such as DaVinci Resolve or VEGAS (https://files.catbox.moe/ypn1lk.zip). You can even use Windows Movie Maker if you want. Drop in the singer's track. (I also recommend dropping in the isolated vocals on a separate track to make timing lyrics easier if you want.) Then just add visuals! You can add gameplay footage to the beat; you can copy the existing music video and just add jokes over it; you can do a slideshow of memes; you can do glorified lyric videos; you can incorporate MMD, Blender, and other external programs; you can do anything you want. It's not hard to start downloading footage and dropping it in. You don't need to have musical or artistic skills. You don't need to be able to draw.
>A two to four minute video is intimidating.
Start with a shorter song. There are plenty of 30-60 second songs without video! You can even do DLC.
>I'm scared and don't want to do this alone.
Hit me up at veethemusical@gmail.com, and I can help with ideas, lyric or subtitle timing, editing, and troubleshooting.
>I don't wanna make a Y**T*** account.
Send me the videos, and I can upload them for you.

I agree 100% with >>723530246, if the criteria was character that never get redeemed you should remove characters from games that aren't finished. Toby Fox redeems villain characters constantly, and has been keeping that trend in Deltarune so far with things like the guy threatening to drop his child off a building being treated as a good guy that was simply bluffing the next chapter. I don't see why this would be different.

You could go with v'ehxness maybe. She's from Hundred Line Defense Academy, she's basically a warmonger that lost her way and the main antagonist of the story, the closest she comes to redemption in like 2 dozen routes is falling in love with someone she shouldn't but still being evil. also she looks cool :)

The one currently in DLC isn't Anonika, it's me, and it was on the sheet for like a full week. Only reason I listed it as DLC was because I assumed Anonika was gonna pull through hence why it's very shitposty. I don't really care whether it stays DLC or not though.

>>
>>723531654
that's how it works, not every past year has the "right" covers too. assuming the top 7 was what we had to do it could probably be:

Vidya:
Ayy Rivals
Jockey (it IS a videogame character even if ideally it would be used for BC)
Screen Girl Dream Girl
I'll Break The Oath (again, lots of actual gaming IPs and references)

BC:
Back From Hack
No Games

Industry/Platforms:
Introduction To Consolewars
>>
>>723531732
Well, by a week I mean it was uploaded the day before the deadline, which you can check by looking at cell edit history.
The Fucking Clothes in Deltarune in the DLC is also me, and it's also there because I assume someone's mixing the other guy's take.
>>
>>723531795
the voting should be split by category to be desu
>>
>>723531620
the one currently in DLC is under DLC because you labelled it "straight to DLC"

when was the last year we split it, because I don't remember that. just vote with the categories in mind and tell other people to for now and we'll see how it goes, people are allowed to remove votes if they want.

>>
Please consider changing your votes to include more actual Vidya album covers to avoid a tragedy.
>>
>>723531972
Yes, it was labelled straight to DLC because I was conceding to Anonika's take which never materialized. If you want to check yourself you can check the edit history on row 29, column M of the unfinished songs page. And here's where I posted the first mix which was a vocaroo, which was hence turned into a flac >>723124618
>>
>>723532162
I'd be fine with Introduction to Console War or Flop being the vidya albums since I feel like those are more vidya than Jockey at least.
>>
>>723532242
flop is absolutely being manipulated still, just not as much anymore because the rigger is trying to be slick

>>
File: rigging.png (193 KB, 1000x1002)

So bad news first rigging is still happening. Good news is I can see the votes per IP and the rigger is not smart enough to rig in a way that isn't obvious. They are trying to be cute by unnaturally slipping votes in for Flop alongside other things, with Flop consistently getting these bonus votes, from IPs that are voting on usually 3, rarely 4 arts at a time. I am able to see the full dataset, and because of that I can exclude these rigger IPs while manually sorting the data, so continue voting as you please and do not worry. Strawpoll has a full timeline and everything so I can visually look at where it spikes.

Compare the rigging IPs on the left to the top countries total votes on the right. More than half the votes come from 2 logical sources and imo have a logical vote spread, yet Flop has 5 total votes in that half and 50 votes from the other half of random IPs voting in small chunks.

If anyone has a natural explanation for why random IPs around the globe are voting for exactly 3 things only and it includes Flop each time, let me know. If not imo this data combined with the other poll is more than enough for me to parse through and pick a true winner's list. I'm still letting both polls run for 24 hours and I'll talk with some others and run the data, and let you guys know my conclusions at that time to see if we can make everyone happy.

>>723532985
the problem is finding one that lets people stay anonymous. we could do some shit like make you use an account with a name but fuck that imo.

>>723533158
If we need to we can, but I think we can just keep this going and I can manually exclude the rigger's IP votes. If I show people the non-sensitive data and explain my thought process I think we will very easily come to a conclusion people can agree on for the album winners, the non-rigger votes are pretty clear in consensus when I look at the overall data.

>>723533071
Sorry. I genuinely like your art, but it's not getting the natural votes it would need to win. Platforms/Industry is a very hard category to win this year because it's 1 slot and several strong options.

If I recall correctly this is almost exactly what happened with the jew art from XI; it was deduced as rigging because most of the votes for the jew art came from locations that were highly implausible for anyone participating in the musical to be in.

>>723533472
Yeah I'll probably end up giving at least some of the data anyway, just so people are on the same page. but it's essentially what I think people would expect and I think the winners are going to be pretty clear, there's like 5 nobody should question at all and then it's just a matter of figuring out which get slot 6 and 7 based on the 2 different polls data. And I don't think it will be hard at all to see.

Here's a small chunk of the "most popular" data locations right now, you can literally see how Flop suddenly starts getting a lot of votes once you leave common countries and go to smaller ones. It's much worse down the list.

>>723533818
yes I can literally see that this time too. probably the same person behind the jew thing and tdm if I have to be honest, which isn't saying the artist did it but they probably picked it because people would believe the artist might.

I don't want to get too into the data because, for example, there's only a couple possible options for who the swedish person voting for a logical number of things from a single IP is, and I would not dare share that data because it's irrelevant to the rigging, I'll just silently include it in the tally when I look at real votes.

You're right about the sort of countries in the pattern though. shout out to "Bosnia and Herzegovina" too, as much as I loved doomedguy and play the piano they're both absolutely going to lose a lot of votes when I tally things. If you want doomedguy to win too, don't think it's secured to win, give it your legit votes because it's one of the ones right near the edge of the true winning line right now I think.
>>
>>723534559

This is probably my last post on the topic tonight unless I get a reason to return to it, but I do want to be clear the data is more than enough to filter out the rigging, down to timestamped individual votes. So if you're a real voter do not think it's not worth voting due to the rigger, I will make sure your votes are counted properly, and even if the rigger changes tactics I have way too much data for them to trick me even if they try different things the whole time from now until the deadline. worthless data when it comes to identifying a person, but more than enough to identify a legit vote not done on a VPN so I can count it.

>>
I don't want people completely in the dark, so...

The actual leaders in the polls so far are easily:
The Ayy Rivals
Jockey
Back From Hack

Also in the top 7 right now but much less securely:
I'll Break The Oath
Introduction To Consolewar
Screen Girl Dream Girl

Very close to taking the 7th slot, fuzzy on the exact numbers but your votes matter here a lot:
Doomedman
Vibri-o
No Games

The others could still climb, but if we're realistic anything not named here would probably need people that already voted to adjust their votes if it wanted a chance.

I recall another anon saying the artist should have elaborated on that further. I am inclined to agree.

You said that years ago and I still think it was unintentional and that those CEOs just happened to kinda look like 2 of the jews the artist drew based on stereotypes. I think the art was fine for the song but the song in general was very borderline for the musical.

lyric police showed up and unfortunately noone realized they were ruining the song. anons erroneously decided that "where's the gameplay where's the gameplay" didn't work, it had to be the stupid esl hard-to-parse "now where gameplay now where gameplay" for some goddamn reason and now we're stuck with it.
really figured someone would go "hey wait this sounds like ass" and rectify before it was too late
>>
>>723538450

whatever you gotta tell yourself, lyriknika.

if you're going to troll by false flagging as both sides to get bumps, it would work better if at least 1 side made sense.
The line isn't "now where gameplay", it is "but where gameplay"
The thing wrong with the original wasn't syllables but flow.

Does anyone remember that clip from a sitcom where a character runs inside the house, sits down in front of the couch, turns on the TV, and immediately is disappointed? It used to be posted as someone watching E3 a lot.

yeah you can force the words out, it does not sound any more natural than the one we got. there's no meaning in changing the inflection on the word "the" there.

and that's not true with the current version? sounds like a double standard.

>>723539753
no it wasn't I just think that it was a good funny joke to make a parody of so im glad it was done
>>
>>723539729
I don't care about word count at all, almost every song is gonna change the word count. I care that in a song with very specific intonation, the first draft of lyrics didn't make any sense with that intonation.

it's like taking a song with the word present (meaning gift) and replacing it with present (meaning introduction). It doesn't work musically, because the word for gift HAS to put stress on the 1st syllable, while the word for introduction HAS to put stress on the 2nd syllable. It's the way you tell the 2 words apart through audio. the singer will either have to say the word wrong, or drastically change the flow of the line. which I think is fine to do in songs, but if your song is a single phrase long it should at least match the flow of the original phrase, or else there's obviously not a second of thought put into the parody lyrics.

I'm not sure I want to say, because it feels a bit petty to name drop. Suffice to say, I asked the writer for a demo of how it's meant to be sung when it was first posted, and he got snarky. If you're a writer and worried about a song, and you didn't do that, then it's not yours.
>>
>>723540453
"a-round" just became "where's the" you are seriously retarded, it sounds fine like that. both times "the" is said it sounds fine. you are gay
>>
>>723540550
yes, it "sounds fine" while completely removing the intent behind the lyrics alternating 2 pronunciations, just like removing a rhyme "sounds fine".
>>
>>723540632

Anon, you're right. I've been doing this whole thing wrong all this time. I shouldn't have changed any stresses or syllables. Not even 1. I have a foolproof way to fix it though. I have just realized the problem with madlibs isn't that they change too little. It's that they change too much.

I drew 3 album arts this year so I guess I can just shill all of them
>Doomedman
Kind of low effort on my part, but that's part of the design since I wanted to make use of Doom's spriteworks to really nail the feeling with the Icon of Sin and the Doom 2 score screen in the background. I also added Doomguy's shocked face behind the visor since I think it makes it look funnier. By the way, I'm not sure we've ever had a Doom-related album cover, at least not from what I remember.
>Ayy Rivals
Based on Hypocrisy's Arrival album, uh... well, it's literally just ayys picked by the thread, the theme is pretty easy (common alien animes in video games) and it's also a crossover piece. I spent the most time on it from what I recall and putting the shining lights in the background in place felt nice. Maybe I could've added more alien ships in the sky, but at least the Grox and a Covenant carrier are there.
>I'll Break the Oath
Pretty simple but effective name that should fit. Peter Molyneux is in the center and the album cover apes the intro section of Black & White, one of THE classic and unique PC games in my book. People harp on about Molyneux with good reason, but he did make some really unique stuff when he wasn't completely lying (such as The Movies and B&W), which makes it sadder that he just kept trying to overhype everything he did. As such, the album cover includes a lot of his games into the background. Why I picked Don't Break The Oath for the parody is more of a personal preference thing, I've always liked the original art and I feel like you need a really "evil" guy to put up front and center on it.
>>
>>723544837
Also for Doomedman I borrowed what I could get for a sprite rip of PSX Doom's fire, so it's not just random pixelated fire unless I've been deceived by what I looked up online.
>>
>>723544837
I voted for all three already. So nice work.

>>723544837
Also for Ayy Rivals, I originally picked it and started drawing a Halo CE grunt because I remember having a lot of fun playing Custom Edition my PC back in the day. So for this one I specifically thought of the mission Under Cover of Night, which is where you're to infiltrate a Covenant ship in CE, and there's a section where you get to the "landing" where you can beam up into the ship. The idea I had was that over the hill was that landing.
Then anons gave me (in this case) the Sectoid (and i asked which design and got the Firaxis one) and the Metroid Prime Space Pirate (holding a TUBE) to finish the trio. If I were a little more ambitious I'd probably added more flair in the background, but I think the cover accomplishes what it sets out to do pretty well.

Match Pitch on the right side. I think only the Pro version has it, which you can find on RuTracker.
I first make a copy of the bit from the original track I need, then VocAlign (with Match Pitch) that snippet to the harmony, then VocAlign (without Match Pitch) the harmonies to the original. Again not perfect but it's better than Avox Choir or Vocal Doubler.

Unironically you're probably not ending up with something better than htdemucs v4 vocals-instrumental from UVR. Songs with a ton of harmonies and reverb tend to have issues with AI in general, it's usually up to the mix to account for that by trying to fill the "gap" left by the old vocals well enough.

I played undertale back in 2015 when it came out, and I thought it was just ok. it was very half baked, which I understand, it being the product of a solo dev, so I don't understand the mass appeal it got. to me, it's very derivative of earthbound, and it's kind of hard to explain why. for one, it does the "when all seems hopeless, the protagonist and supporting cast come together and defeat the seemingly insurmountable foe with the power of friendship" thing that earthbound did, with 4th wall breaks and everything. it's also got the quirky humor in spades, though I think earthbound's was far more whimsical and grandiose in comparison.

all this to say that I don't fukken get it. yet, there's clearly an audience for it. there's how many deltarune songs this year? at least a dozen right? so tell me, dear musical friends, why this 'tism is so appealing to you. be brief or wax philosophical, I'll read it.

While we're on the topic of stereo, singfags, make sure you're recording in mono if you only have one microphone. Looking at you Coolguyanon.

There's a list of technical reasons as to why you shouldn't, but in at least one of your vocal tracks the left side is louder than the right. Nothing that can't be easily fixed, but damn is it a pet peeve.

At that point I might need a list. But we can narrow it down a little. This year the only singer I'm uncertain of is the one on Masterbait.
That leaves years XI and XII.
The songs I'm uncertain of those years are on Cloverful Field, Atomniy, and Daily Dose of the Kingdom. We can rule out anything that wasn't anon as well.

>>
>>723558762

>>723558348
earthbound:
>once upon a time a small town was visited by an extraterrestrial entity, a premonition of dark times to come
>an especially gifted boy in this town helped an interlocutor thwart the threat, and learned that he will be instrumental in defeating the cosmic evil that will be visited upon the planet
>the boy is implored to set out on a quest to meet his destiny
>along the way he met friends, helped people, and stood up against evil
>in the shadows, the foreboding, sinister, cosmic entity grew with the help of the boy's rival, none other than his next door neighbor
>with the help of his friends, the young hero traveled to the ends of the earth to tap into ancient melodies of psychic power that purified his psyche and prepared him for the final confrontation
>despite their best efforts, it was all for naught, as the true form of this great evil could not be comprehended
>when all seemed lost, their pleas were met with the psychic resonance from those whom they helped along the way
>this overwhelming love was enough to stifle the grand cosmic evil
undertale:
>once upon a time, humans and monsters lived together
>but something something a division was created and monsters kept to themselves
>those among monsterkind yearned for a day when they could be free of what they perceived as exile
>in order to achieve this, human souls were required to complete some sort of ritual
>one day a young human child walks among the monsters
>this either purehearted or pure evil child's actions spins the threads of fate
>in a fortunate timeline, the divine child saves monsters from their fate through an empathetic and pacifistic approach, while thwarting the designs of a misunderstood black heart in the process
>in another timeline, the child's bloodthirst is an unprecedented reckoning that seemingly spells the end of monsterkind as they know it

so they're not similar, no, but they do share similar themes.

>>723557214
I thought Undertale was mid but I really like Deltarune personally. I like stories that separate the player and the characters in a meaningful way. The meta themes genuinely have something to say as opposed to something like Spec Ops: The Line where it's just "you should've turned it off champ." I like the characters. The writing hits me. For example, Susie and Kris's friendship feels tender and real. The writing does a good job of anticipating the player's feeling. In chapter 1&2, most people including me disliked Ralsei, and so did Kris. In 3&4, when I came around on Ralsei and felt bad for my prior mistrust, Kris hugged him with no prompting from me. Lastly while I didn't find UT funny most of the time, the humor in DR appeals to me. The Creator loves RPGs and games and it shows. A section in chapter 3 has the three protagonists playing not-Zelda on a couch together. Their responses to your actions, and their actions, mimic the feeling of couch co-op with friends so well. They feel alive.
The gameplay in chapter 1 is the worst by far but it gets substantially better in my opinion.

Just my opinion, but please consider taking your votes off of "No Games". We only have 2 BC slots and it's beyond obvious that Back From Hack and Jockey are winning both. You're free to ignore this but the end result becomes that one of the 3 has to be on a Vidya album. The rigger means we probably won't know the winner until the cabal sorts through that shit anyway.
>>
Why do some people have naturally pleasant voices? Even when on key I have to try so fukin hard to make it easy on the ears, what's the secret?
>>
>>723566932
I mean, singing is something you train but also does require natural talent.
>>
>>723566736
I wouldn't worry too much, No Games has a lot of the rigged votes and it's not in the top 7 right now, it's probably like 9th.
The poal.me was rigged but pretty much exclusively for TDM and Screen Girl Dream Girl. It shows if you exclude that there are ones like I'll Break The Oath that are significantly more votes than No Games, despite the strawpoll potentially suggesting otherwise at a glance

>>
>>723568328
The cabal decides which poll decides.
>>
>>723568328
They're both being considered with the rigging being different in each of them. Vote on both honestly. If you want to give one more weight, it would be the strawpoll because I can individually see each vote to more clearly get a count on non-riggers votes in case something is getting a more subtle amount of rigged votes. But from what I've seen the winner would be the same on both right now assuming you ignore TDM and Flop which I think everyone is aware are not real contenders at this point. In the 1st poll TDM exclusively gained votes in the spurt of rigged ones, and in the 2nd poll Flop is obviously rigged because there's an absurd amount of IPs voting for only it or only it +1-3 others.

You should upload each mix of the same song to the same gofile, for convenience. And you should rename them so people can't vote based off filename.

I wouldn't suggest a 3 way death battle because it just means you're cannibalizing votes from that anon between 2 options, so settle on 1 to put in the DB and then if anon wins people can nitpick the edit more after even.

I'm noticing some Timed Lyrics are only on 1 tab, if you have sheet perms and are uploading some it's a good idea to get them on Finished and on Album Order at the same time. Good redundancy in case a cell is overwritten and it stops someone from double-timing something.

they're extremely similar in tone and theme and many concepts, and that shouldn't be a surprise, Toby Fox got his game dev start by making hacks and mods for Earthbound. The combat is different, but someone that laughs while playing Undertale probably laughs at Earthbound too. The entire gag of carrying Lancer around in Deltarune is a direct reference to a similar gag in Earthbound, down to Deltarune quoting the line about being able to treat him as an item because he's a tough boy.

The biggest difference imo is Undertale's reliance on multiple routes and endings. Earthbound is just a longer single campaign instead of a short one you replay a couple times.

>>723595791

>>
>>723594774
How are they similar in theme at all? Earthbound doesn't have any player-meta aspects whatsoever except for arguably the final prayer.

>>723595310
nonka here, up to you.
>>
>>723595853
Guess that rules out the coomer song into seamen combo
>>
>>723557214
I honestly never played earthbound. Or, more correctly, didn't play it as a child. As an adult, I never finished it. It just didn't click with me for some reason. Maybe it's just that it's an older RPG and I got a lot more used to more modern ones, I don't know.
Undertale and Deltarune appeal to me more narratively than anything else.
From a gameplay perspective, personally, I hate bullet-hells, but it simplified that format in a way that's silly and kind of fun. It never felt like "move exactly this way or you lose"
But as a fan of them, I also understand that they're not for everyone.
My girlfriend liked watching me play Undertale. I got it for her and she fucking hated it. And I kind of had a similar experience with earthbound and mother 3. I liked watching someone else play it, but I didn't like it when it was me playing it.
Though, Deltarune and Undertale both appeal to me for very slightly different reasons.
I really like how Deltarune's narrative plays with the 4th wall and really makes the player an actual entity in the story with the soul. Characters and story are great too.
In Undertale, that was always an element, but it was more of a neat novelty in that game, and I really mostly liked it for the characters and story.
>>
>>723595882
the prayer is a huge deal, but overall the meta stuff is less of a theme and more of window dressing and a weird plot device. theme-wise they're both about using the wacky power of friendship, but it is important to note undertale is a lot more focused on the meaning of choice while earthbound is more about the meaning of growing up.

either way I don't think we need to drag this topic on, undertale/deltarune threads are constant, you can talk about that there.

>>723596046
seamen is a lot more strictly vidya yeah, hard to justify moving it to board culture. its a funny joke but the coomer songs are already paired as a joke.
>>
>>723596195
Understandable outcome.
>>
We could move 1 or maybe 2 more Vidya songs to Board Culture to even out album counts. These are ones I'm considering, let me know which you think fit best on BC if any:

Fumos (song about plushies that mentions some vidya stuff?)
Obese Neckbeard Basement Dwellers (does use a game for some of the lyrics so iffy on moving it)
Didn't Beat the Game (popular board culture meme, not about any specific games but about a type of attitude about gaming)
Steal My Games (song about piracy)
>>
>>723597179
>didn't beat the game
Seems like board culture to me
>>
>>723597179
fumos and didn't beat the game seem obvious candidates

>>
>>723597227
>>723597314
>>723597656

Anyone know of any songs that aren't on the temp sheet at all? I know some need mixing and whatever, but they're on the sheet, correct? If any are left behind we need to identify them now so I can add them and they don't get lost until it's too late.
>>
>>723597745

>>
weird question maybe but am I allowed to upload a new mix for something that's DLC?
>>
>>723598032
I'll be able to verify that by time we're done timing lyrics because I'm marking both and it'll be obvious if there's gaps on finished other than DLC. I'm more concerned about if one of the things on unfinished that isn't edited yet hasn't been caught.

>>723598132

>>
>>723596195
I'm not trying to drag this out, but you're posting simply incorrect information. The meta stuff is not set dressing in UT/DR. The entire plot of UT is set around the twist of the player not being Frisk. If "wacky power of friendship" is a theme then pretty much all RPGs are thematic derivatives of each other, and I don't think this is the case. I don't even particularly like UT and I was not involved in any of the Deltarune songs this year or any year. It's just disingenuous. Undertale's themes are largely derivative of Moon RPG if you want an actual point of comparison.

OK so Suck It Up isn't listed. The QRD there is that Astley randomly uploaded a take that is complete but without sfx. We have to make a decision essentially, do we think Astley would want us to move it to the album? I have it on DLC section for now so at worst it's not completely forgotten.

I haven't listened to Free! so idk anything about it but it's already on the editing tab, I've added a spot for it in DLC for the moment and again when it's done it'll probably end up on an album if it belongs there, I'll watch out for it. a QRD on it would probably help to avoid mixups.

>>723598295
if you're this autistic about getting the exact nuances of your undertale lore right, you should just go make an undertale thread honestly. I don't really care if you want to argue that one of several twists in the game is secretly the theme and not just a plot device that works alongside the theme told directly through the story and gameplay.

>Good Sport in Session 1:38 (NOFX)
>Just Fuckin' Lost 1:53 (NOFX)
last two are both NOFX originals so i'd move either of those two to BC1. probably 'Good Sport in Session' if only because 'Just Fuckin' Lost' is the more upbeat song that'll be good to have on the final album. tho i haven't heard enough songs from BC1 to tell you yet what to switch it with. i'll be taking a closer look in the coming days to help fine tune the playlist and avoid singfag repeats but for now that's all i have.

>>
>>723598709
I'm not being autistic. This isn't about nuance. This is like you saying that environmentalism has set dressing for FF7 because the theme is actually saving the world from wacky power of friendship.
If you want to be willfully ignorant so you can dismiss games you don't like, be my guest. Earthbound's themes have very little to do with Undertale, Omori, or any of the other so-called "Earthbound likes." It baffles me the people who clearly haven't played these games lump Earthbound in with them.

All the DB options have edited versions, the only thing up for DB still on editing sheet is Kane-ilingus which has multiple edited versions by that anon already, and seemingly nobody doing a new edit because the existing one is fine. The editor for that song already picked their version for what goes up on the DB so unless someone else has a good reason for objection I say we move forward. We can't stall forever, and I think polls for DBs make more sense than polls for Openers when not everything is edited.
