Basically, due to lilith sisters from Monster World arrving in paradox world and killing Marcellus way before he was supposed to die “canonically”, it caused a paradox (He died on Hellgondo, years before luka was born). There is a staggering amount of team building potential due to the variety of classes and races and even if you get maid headbands early on to increase job exp gains it's still nowhere near enough to make a dent in mastering every job of any given archetype just from natural play with zero grinding. This means the only way you're going to get enough job experience without grinding is if you know exactly what you need to level but even then most classes in the game are unlocked as you progress so you won't have access to a lot of it.That aside the best difficulty to play through if you want a challenge without the game being bullshit is probably Very Hard. Hell can be doable but Hell and Paradox crank stats up so much that basically everything is going to have far more agility than you so unless you use exclusively priority attacks your non-grind party is going to get outsped like fuck and annihilated.
