Dont skimp on power and obviously you need max speed and medium S…just giving advice for A rank, but this will allow you to destroy B fags.

Since normal lobbies aren't ranked in any way (or if they are, the ranking is extremely subtle and lenient), each team usually has 1-2 great players carrying at the top, a few decent players making the bulk of the team and always at least several bumling retards or meme playstyle goofs contributing almost nothing to the team. So you'll fit in right from the beginning as a fresh install and eventually you'll just get better at carrying servers if you actually care about playing better.

Hey /v/, I've played TF2 for years and love the mechanics of rocket jumping a whole lot. I was contemplating making a collectathon style 3d platformer with mechanics based around rocket jumping and I wanted to get opinions how easy or feasable it is on using a traditional controller. I'd want to simplify it down a bit, maybe removing the need to hold crouch and simply giving the player crouching knockback at all times for their own rockets and giving them the c-tapping "boost" by default. I even have a few progressive skills in mind to help train newer players on the art>generous self-damage reduction (Gunboats) early on>a skill to slow down time when in air as training wheels for jumping and chains or combos>complete self-damage immunity later on, a Rocket Jumper that still damages enemiesso the act of playing on controller is a little easier. If you're building it in another engine you don't have to copy it 1:1, in fact it would be quite difficult to copy the physics perfectly, so you should just come up with your own simplified mechanic that can work nicely on a controller.
