It's true, once you get a bed in the first 5 minutes you can just use on the bare ground to skip the night without shelter. minecraft is designed so wack. The overworld survival was never made very hard so they just expanded into other dimensions.

Unironically phantoms ruin the game.I know you can toggle them off, but for some reason I always make worlds with them on because I think they won't be a problem and yeah. Getting jumpscared every 30 minutes is not fun. IF it was something that happened once every 10 hours I'd be down to it, but as of now it is way too frequent.
