1. You got ADHD. Reading unironically helps.
2. You are playing shitty games that are not captivating and engaging you in any way.
Happens way too often with the modern, disposable mainstream slop. No challenge, no sense of discovery, no new ideas, and sterile as fuck writing and designs in general.

I started seeing posts like this already 15 years ago. Sometimes, OP would call it a "Tired gamer syndrome", other times just claim that "I guess I grew out of games" and whatnot.
Every time, the solution was simple:
Take a break, get more activities into your life, and play better, often OLDER games, something outside your comfort zone.

For example, one Anon had never played the System Shock 2 before, and ended up playing it twice in a row that very same week.
Another one had never touched a classic survival horror game in their life, yet the classic Silent Hill and Resident Evil games ended up being their salvation.
Third fella didn't even know that the RTS genre existed, and had the light brought back in his eyes through Warcraft 3.

List goes on.

Attaboy!
Take it slow. Learn the controls and gameplay.
I recommend going to Navy first time.

Real answer is to do other things then unwind with vidya
Nothing beats having a good workout then logging into your MMO feeling accomplished in life and online.
Vidya becomes hard to enjoy when you can't use it to ignore life's problems anymore, fix your life and Vidya will be enjoyable again.

its not adhd or whatever nonsense you are just getting older and you've already experienced everything gaming has to offer, anything you play now will just be a variation of something you've already experienced. you should be working and dealing with your real life more aka grow up and stop trying to escape life
