If you like 2 and want more, just be warned, you do have to play 1 first before you play 3. 3 works great on PC as well with the fix from the pcgamingwiki, but be warned that the fix turns up the resolution of the shadows which disables the soft shadows the game has by default. You need to manually go into the .ini file and turn it down to about 256 or turn off the up-res for the resolution to still have higher resolution shadows but retain the original soft shadows.As well, if you only want to play 1 once, consider using a spoiler-free guide for the true ending. 3 follows up from it.

Lying Figures outside spray the microsecond you get in range and turn to face you very quickly so the only real way to fight them is to do a running plank bonk while coming at them from an angle, then pray you can follow up with additional bonks fast enough to stunlock them (of course there's no real reason to kill anything outdoors anyway though). Indoors is a different story, they have a longer cooldown period after a spray indoors so you can bait them and then run in swinging. Every other enemy in the game you either bait their attack and counter, or once you get the pipe, outrange them with stabbing attacks. You pretty much NEED to use guns in some spots too because of how much more aggressive and tanky they are, like the claustrophobic upstairs areas in the hospital, switching to the shotgun to knock down some nurses is basically essential or else you get swarmed quickly.
Do I really need to play the first one before starting SH2?
