What are your favorite Star Trek games?
Gates McFadden and Nana Visitor were the hottest
>>723921268What was the question again?
All the TNG girls were fucking ugly as shit except Ro and that one Vulcan girl you see for 10 seconds in one episode. You know the one.The lady that played Crusher was a horrible actress too, the old lady doctor was 10x better.
>>723921268Deep Space Nine: Dominion Wars, Klingon Academy and Birth of the Federation are my top 3. There have been many Star Trek games I've enjoyed but those 3 I have the most nostalgia for.
>>723921268That's right honey pie work that business
I guess the OP should've used this image with the usual taunt and posted during Euro hours.
>>723922285or something more thought-provoking
>>723921268Bridge Commander, The Fallen and Klingon Academy; in fact, I was playing KA 20 minutes ago.
>>723922672she was on death wish she gets r worded and she gets naked in it
is this game any good?
>>723922934If you go in for casual play to run through the story missions one time and skip more blatantly stupid shit like the two STD inspired Klingon Civil War campaigns, yes. If you intend to participate in anything like the endgame then lol, lmao.
>>723921268I'll never get to see this in a higher resolution will I
>>723922672I can't wait until AI can just make full length episodes/movies
>>723923539Get the blu-rays
I used to kill a crewmember on the ship, then see how long I could run and avoid getting arrested and game overed using what ammo and weaponry I had left
My top 3 are:Armada IIBridge CommanderKlingon AcademyHonorable Mention: Starfleet Command 3>>723921752>Dominion WarsSo I wasn't the only one who played that game.
>>723922934I miss my days in Vidya Trek. It was the best of times.
>>723922934Like the other anon said, it's a fun game to play casually. There are fairly regular events and seasonal promotions that reward you with a premium ship if you do something as simple as create a character from X faction within the timeframe. I didn't get involved in whatever the "endgame" is to know much about it or if it's any good. It's fun flying around and outfitting your ship & crew. The later minigame where you are sending ships & crews to go and do missions off-screen I found to be a really nice inclusion, it made me feel like I was commanding a fleet.
>>723922672This shit is animated like Who Framed Rodger Rabbit.

>>723921268For me, it's Star Trek Elite Force II the best Star Trek game. Oh, man. So many years, so many memories. Time sure does fly by, doesn't it? I remember playing this game for the first time, and I was all like "whoa", and then I was all like "What's this?!?" and then I was like "Hey! Prime directive!" I even played the multiplayer for a little while and everyone started calling me "Prime Directive." What a great game.

>>723925446This, although I kinda like EF1 more than 2 because 1 is set on the comfy as fuck Voyager and even has a Voyager tour expansion.I tried to get into modding 2 and the whole thing is just fucked though, the company that made it put all the files in their gay little formats and it's nearly impossible to convert them into usable file formats except for some mysterious, impossible to decipher command line shit that I couldn't manage to get to work

>>723925792>The stuff women would wear during the height of the aerobics fad was downright vulgar and nobody gave a shit. You say that like no one makes cool dresses anymore (like that one modakawa dress) or has lewd fads.
>>723926550>BREAKINGAccredited 4chan psychologist discovers looking at flat boring granny asses no longer cause arousal in men largely due to the availability of more enticing options.

>>723927537They sure got their money's worth with that actress.
>>723927437That actress is like 46 now.
>>723927669It's not that women don't dress sexy anymore, it's the fact that sexuality used to permeate society a lot more and nobody really noticed. Those sort of high waisted leotards and bikini bottoms fell out of fashion for good reason even as sportswear because the woman basically his just a thin strip of fabric covering her vag.

>>723934769
Any characters that would appeal to someone who prefers older women?
>>723921268Armada. I liked how every unit had actual crews that could be lost/replenished over time, and how you could capture enemy ships with tractor beams and beam your crews on board to capture them. I would make a point of recapturing every assimilated Starfleet vessel in the campaign missions before capturing a Borg construction ship and creating a hybrid base. Also, Star Trek: Legacy. The campaigns were mid, but the ship combat was really fun for the time. STO combat is like a watered down version with more macros with everything fixed to a 2D plane. Being able to play ENT, TOS, and TNG-era versions of multiple species was also a lot of fun. TOS Federation VS The Borg was peak. There was an old Windows 98/XP game called Starship Creator were you could make your own ship designs, choose what sort of interiors and modules they had, and even select a crew using characters from TNG/DS9/VOY and send them on missions in real time with an LCARS-inspired UI. It wasn't anything amazing, but I had a lot of fun with it.Honestly, I just want more games with ship porn.
>>723935127yes
>>723921268I was inordinately fond of Star Trek Online. For some reason the grimdark Trek 40k future with the fucking borg and breen and mirror universe and everything's shit everywhere which would've been awful for an actual show was just so damn enjoyable in MMO form where you pick your favorite ship to baby around and get a bridge crew of alien women with massive tits and have silly space adventures and GOD DAMN IT it's been years since I played it and I can hear it fucking whispering to me. There's just nothing else out there quite like itThere are a lot of really good Trek games but I've probably put the most time in STO and I enjoy it as a separate entity. Though it's also cool when the Trek shows lift ship designs from STO
>>723935127Lwaxana Troi
>>723927729more enticing options like balloon tits, dicks and things that arent even human women in general. youre not fooling anyone no matter how much you dress up mockery of what is literally just normal women you funny lil cunt
How has there never been a single player KOTOR/Mass Effect-esque Star Trek RPG where you play as a starfleet captain going across the galaxy solving people's problems like it's an episode and how is Expanse getting one before Star Trek
>>723921268>Star Trek>Star WarsI just think no one actually unironically gives a shit or even know these two
>>723935127lwaxanamoreso in TNG, she only has 1 good episode in ds9
>>723921268FlashTrek: Broken Mirror. Give me back the good old days of the internet.
>>723936016Because CBS/Paramount are dumbasses who have been completely mismanaging the property ever since Braga and Berman left the helm and JJ got his greasy jewish mitts on it and passed it on like a well-used whore to Kurtzmann, his jewish buddy who is even more untalented and uncaring of what Star Trek is supposed to be about and just wants to turn it into generic sci-fi action slop
>>723936016I've never consumed any Expanse-related media, will I enjoy this?
>>723936016paramount isn't interested in making anything good
Man where are the Farscape games
>>723921268>What are your favorite Star Trek games? This one was fun. Basically a Star Trek 4X where you can play as the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians, Ferengi (or the Dominon with mods). It had dozens of little minor races from various Trek episodes that you could incorporate into your empire for various bonuses, which is kind of a unique mechanic I haven't seen anywhere else.Would love to see someone make a new Trek 4X.
>>723936227there was one
>>723936294plural
>>723929901everything being carpeted in TNG is goofy.but it's also a stupid show, so whatever.
>>723936160kurtzman rightfully gets a lot of shit for nu-trek but it's crazy how nobody mentions Akiva Goldsman who is pretty much single-handily responsible for the cancer that is Star Trek Picardit's a whole cabal of talentless hack jews

>love the 90s trek growing up>get older>realize its shit because 90s television has shit pacingbut im still attached to the setting it createdjust wish i could stand to binge it with out suffering
>>723937667it's not the shows, its tiktok has fried your attention span
>>723937317everyone, thats what an attractive female looks like to civilized people
>>723937667>shit pacingno anon, I think you just have no patience. Most 90s Trek makes excellent use of its 45 minute runtime to tell a lengthy, satisfying story. Not to say there aren't any stinkers though, TNG, DS9, and VOY all have some very boring first season episodes
>>723937738it is, every time i can see they meant to put a commercial break in i just groan. the episodes feel rushed as well, they really need that extra 10 minutes per episode.the mid 2000s really improved how television worksAnd it is something about the 90s, i watch tos and dont feel this way. 90s was just trash at tv
>>723921268Mass Effect 1.
>>723937170>>723937317Oh, hello. What's this? Why, It certainly does appear as if my previously stated opinion, via general consensus, has been validattiieated.
>>723936176Expanse is, for the lack of a better word, woke garbage. Each season is worse than the previous one.
>asses
>>723937170it was viewed as sexual thats why there is a mirror in that scenelithe is hot, fat is gross. did you forget the entire 'does this make my butt look big?' thing? nobody wanted to appear to be obese until recently
>>723937892nigger you are retarded, shows in the 2000s were even shorter because networks wanted to shove in more ads. there are cases of them even speeding up old sitcoms to fit them in less time. it was absolutely not better. and having a fade to black for an ad break is absolutely not the same thing as pacing issues.
>>723922934Play it casually and enjoy many of the stories that doesn't involve STD or the later Terran story line. It does that whole part where you can have customizable npc follower quite well. The game is mostly space combat and that is a whole other league of discussion. If you bother doing those annual events each year, you get some T6 coupons, lobi crystals, and prem coupon. It will take a fuckton ton of money or time or both if you wanna go full meta endgame mode in this game. Otherwise, just enjoy the space barbie as this game has lots of ships you will never get access to.
>>723937170they're literally talking about sex in the sceneit was very intentional
>>723921268
>>723938041People now don’t REALLY want to appear as obese, they’ve just given up on getting thin. The rapid growth of Ozempic and other GLP-1 drugs for weight loss is proof-positive of this.‘Thicc’ and all that other crap was just fatty cope..
>>723936110This shit was great. I'm surprised we haven't gotten some kind of indiejank knockoff of it.
>>723938074the 2000s gave us bsg which had excellent pacing and is great to bingeThe pacing issue is that they had to wrap everything up each episode, the old 'everything is the same at the end' trope. This is generally no good, but this is how TOS also did it and it did it noticeably better so they were just better in the 60s than the 90s.Maybe they wasted too much time on technobabble i dont know. They are just shows that really felt meant to be caught half way through as you flip the channels, watch some commercials with, and then end with out really paying much attention to them. You see the reruns and piece togeather episodes over multiple days. When they have a filler episode streak i just cant sit through them. Maybe this is explained by tos just being gold nonstopped for the first season and a half and then later 2000s stuff having concurrent intertwining plots so that filler episodes were still progressing things. This is best felt in voyager which is very hard to sit through after the first few seasons.
