For some players the point is to have a strong endgame team, so early promotion or prepromote reliance are unthinkable; other plyaers just want to get through the game with what is most suitable for the moment they're in.Neither is wrong strictly speaking, it's a single player video game, but the two are doomed to clash because of their fundamentally different assumptions about what is important.

I've never actually upgraded these before. c+ isn't even that hard these are like all free stat boosts for corrin

Also while you can't get to 20 without abusing Lundgren or something, there is enough exp to get Sain to 18 if you more or less solo with him. And 18/1 Sain is still really good.
