Guarda, nonostante sia un fan della prima ora non ho mai avuto opinioni particolarmente forti sulla serie. Per me ci sono dei giochi che nettamente migliori di altri.
ZA non mi piace perche manca completamente l'elemento dell'avventura, non sembra neanche un gioco di pokemon, è un passo indietro rispetto a PLA, che comunque aveva i suoi difetti ma almeno era interessante per certi versi.
La quinta generazione, ambientata negli stati uniti, è orribile se paragonata alla quarta che è venuta immediatamente prima, i design sono senza immaginazione e non sembrano neanche pokemon a parte alcuni come Cofagrigus, i color palette sono anche terribili, basta guardare pokemon come Scrafty, molti sono variazioni di marrone. Con la quinta è iniziato inoltre il trend di spostare il focus dal contesto selvaggio al contesto urbano, cosa che va contro la natura stessa del concetto di pokemon. ZA è il culmine di questo.
Della sesta e settima neanche parlo perche non valgono il tempo speso.
Invece a mio parere l'odio per Scarlet e Violet non è meritato. Ho amato sopratutto il dlc di Kitakami, sembrava di giocare ad un vecchio gioco delle prime generazioni.

La cura con cui hanno progettato un gioco come Heart Gold/Souls Silver o Diamante/Perla per rispecchiare rispettivamente la regione di Kyoto-Osaka-Nara e Hokkaido non è paragonabile ai lavori generici che hanno fatto per regioni come Kalos, Paldea o l'altra inglese che neanche mi viene in mente ora. Praticamente è come chiedere a un chirurgo di farti un tavolo, non è capace e il risultato finale fa cagare rispetto a un'operazione chirurgica.

Non so quanto tu conosca giochi come Heart Gold/Soul Silver e Platino, i dettagli che hanno quei giochi non sono riconosciuti da persone che non hanno familiarità con la materia trattata, e quindi forse il mio discorso ti puo sembrare esagerato. I won't deny that the checklists are tedious, but don't act like catching pokemon is a far removed task. The world of PLA is more interesting was my initial point. Catching pokemon on rooftops and alleyways seems like it would lose its inherit mystique that made wild encounters at set locations, novel to begin with.

im saying the ending was anti climatic even when you're fighting the first stage of the Floette boss it felt extremely boring because it makes you follow a simple pattern which can easily be walk around, then when you beat that stage you get to zygarde whatever form and you easily just insta kill it with its final attack making it very anticlimactic i would've like if it let you fight with mega zygarda in the end instead of just instantly annihilating it then cutting to cutscene it just seems super generic and not in a actually good generic way but in a really stagnant generic type of way

and i get that you like those characters because they're hot but they're really not that memorable besides just for porn for Jacinthe and speaking of Jacinthe she was very forgettable and the only thing she was memorable for was her assistant and had actually had a unique personality sorry if forgot her name though, but she was more memorable and more expressive

Final boss was the only one of these actiony fights where your pokemon would actually take damage but they put a wall you can use to protect yourself and it was just a pretty long fight because of that since phase 2 and 3 attack a lot.

Mawile is so fun in ZA, she ended up being my highest leveled mon when I beat the game. She’s surprisingly tanky in base form even with sub-400 BST but the type combo is fantastic and then you mega evolve and she’s so strong. She’s cute and cool at the same time. I’m a Mawile fan because of this game.

It depends on what you liked about Arceus. ZA keeps the same fast-paced gameplay and in fact makes it even more fast-paced with the action combat system, but aside from that it's opposite in many ways. It's all set in a modern city rather than a bunch of natural environments, it's smaller with the exploration being much more vertically-oriented through scaffolding and rooftops. Pokémon catching and Pokedex research are heavily de-emphasized as wild Pokémon are mainly relegated to small districts turned into Wild Zones, back alleys and rooftops and research tasks aren't per Pokémon anymore but way more generalized and are entirely optional. On the other hand, battling is much, much more important, you go up a ladder by battling regular trainers in dedicated Battle Zones at night until you get a ticket to fight the equivalent of a gym leader and there's about a dozen of them plus almost twenty rogue mega evolved Pokémon which work like the noble Pokémon boss fights in Arceus. There's also a free-for-all four player online multiplayer mode with its own ladder and seasons while Arceus had fuck-all for multiplayer.
