Positioning is much more important compared to the single player's 1-vs-1s since you'll be attacked from multiple sides and your AoEs can hit multiple opponents at once. The arenas are large enough that you can hang back and try to sneak up on others locked in battle, but not so large that you can just camp completely out of sight. You have limited switch-outs per life and have to wait a few seconds before respawning once you're KO'd. Knowing when to switch out, run away and kill-steal is extremely important.

Gyms are typically in towns, while titans and team star bases are in the open nature.
