I'm about to start Gothic 1 (with Union patch) for the first time everAnything I should know about or am I free to go in blind?

>>724048160As far as I know Union is just basic compatibility patches that allow Gother 1 to run better on modern systems.I saw it recommended on PcGamingWiki so I just installed it(I'm assuming it doesn't ruin the 'modless' Gothic 1 experience)

>>724048103If I recall wildlife respawns between the multiple acts so make sure you kill them all for xp and pelts before that happens.
There is also a direct x patch that makes the game a bit prettier, but the lense flare is awful. So you can at least try it out

If you want to be a wizard you have to save your skill points which makes you weak for a good portion of the game, but OP as fuck afterwards
