You'd want at least one blade you could brace against your forearm and build a proper kinetic linkage. This game hardly feels like NG. It's way faster and a lot of bloodraven moves can't be cancelled to avoid most offscreen attacks, which are abundant compared to previous entries. Also this Ryu VA does not work for me. He sounded better in NG2.
