>/v/ says it's bad>try it>it's actually good and fun
I (the official voice of /v/) have always said it's good
>>724061575I've never been able to get into it despite multiple attempts. Longest I could play was maybe 3 hours and it's so fucking boring my dudes.Discount TLoU.
>>724061575I honestly preferred the open world of 2 since there's a lot of good spooks/random encounters hidden out in the town. Also Stephano/Obscura are a kino villain pair
>>724061575It's the most mediocre fucking thing I have played in 2017, and that says a lot when you look at the mediocrity that released in that year.
>>724061575It really was.The gameplay felt really smooth after playing the jankfest that was the first one.
>>724062031>cheese the camera thing with the table between us until the emitter can restart Yeah so scary
>>724062031>StephanoDude is a wholesale plagiarized Sander Cohen from Bioshock.
>>724061575It was to corporate
>>724061575TEW2 is a mixture of The Matrix and TLoU. I like the game but its extremely obvious it was trying to be both of those things.
it starts off great with an interesting idea. then halfway through it turns into hallway and cutscene simulator.
>>724061575The series is misunderstood honestly. The second tied things up nicely for Sebastian and left it open for more entries. The first game is my favorite though. The darker atmosphere and direction felt better. I also liked the lore and how it left things up for interpretation. Sad truth is it filtered many retards who didn't pay attention to clues and just wanted things out to them.
>>724062529Yeah, shit really drops in quality after Stephano.
>>724062593*things spelled out for them.
>>724062338"Snuff artist" is a trope, and the surreal setting of TEW2 meant they could get away with much crazier set pieces in the game like picrel.>>724062305The Stephano boss fight on nightmare makes up for this. I ran out of ammo halfway through and had to knifefight him to death
>>724061575>crawl into tool shed safehouse>do some upgrading>hear anima humming down the hallway
>>724061764Wait, you're also the official voice of /v/? There's two of us?
It's too generic "horror" shooter. It isn't a sequel to Evil Within; it isn't an Evil Within game, except for in name. Sure, it's a decent game, but just copying the name of an actual good game is pretty gross.
>>724061575I think the only problem with it is that there was a step back a bit in presentation (your mileage may vary) and that ruvik was a hard act to follow and stephano was only act 1.
