This was the coolest mecha game ever made, T2 was cringe and gay.
>>724068684Please don't call them mechas, they are titans.Respawn was very insistent on them not being mechas.
>>724068684The cards were gay and the mech loadout options could use better balancing, but I don't like that the solution they came up with is to remove most customisation options from mechs and just turn them into hero classes with the only customisation being about which ability you want buffedIt should've had an offline mode with bots, even CoD gives you an option to play against them and CoD doesn't put the story into their multiplayer matchesSpeaking of story winning or losing should've mattered more, from what I remember every mission either the side that's supposed to win is winning and their plan is proceeding flawlessly or they're losing but then succeed in the last 25% of the match anyway (at some cost that's never mentioned again) because they only wrote one script for the campaign
>>724069029Imagine Titanfall but it's a kind of moba-like deal where you spawn with a Titan and do PVEVE until you get a skirmish with enemy player Titans, you have lane-ish map design Bailing out of your Titan before it dies gives you a chance to either help your team finish the fight or slip away to spawn for a reduced respawn time There are reasons to leave your Titan anyway, like going into a high place or a place off to the side that Titans can see but not reach to get a power-up or point or XP, and you obviously run into enemy pilots there Maybe it's not competitive in the sense that winning is everything, maybe you're mostly doing PVEVE until enemy players decide to rob you of your XP Either way, imagine always being on the lookout for enemy pilots not because they're dangerous, but because they can scout your position for their team or steal shit from under you, or sneakily kill valuable NPC allies
>>724070325Oh shit sorry I forgot we can't have cool experimental games anymore nvm
>>724070325Imagine this but attack on titan. Oh shit wait international IP law is a thing so we can't have nice things
>>724068684T2 wasn't anything. It was just trying to sell the multiplayer again without having to make a campaign. Apex was a tragedy the depths of which we are only now seeing
