I like to build my gameplay around farming in games that weren't designed for that. Something like Rimworld and Fallout 4 where the game expects you to shoot and kill but I just build a peaceful farm. Are there any other games that let me do something similar?

farming in rimworld is miserable
>blight
>cant cull it it fast enough because only 1 of your colonists is good enough to know which is the right side of the shears
>and hes too busy punching your generator because he decided to eat a ration in the storage room instead of taking it to the dining room

>rimworld
>not designed for farming
Farming is how you maintain a sizeable colony, it was always designed for farming. The fun comes in defending the farms

Rimworld is just dollhouse for men literally the same shit as the sims but for if you got a cock.

Farming in Rimworld is a trap because it just makes your wealth go up infinitely, so your defenses don't scale with your raid difficulty unless you're actively spending your profit on weapons every time a trader rolls around.

You can pick Farmer as your class in Elin, and then decide to spend 99% of your time building and maintaining a farmstead.
>breeding seeds until you get the stat modifiers on them you want across multiple types of crops
>feeding yourself and any workers/villagers/allies/party members/pets
>creating preserved foods
>cooking foods to sell
>raising, breeding, sheering livestock
>collecting eggs and milk
Elona has many of the same systems if you prefer it, as well as (currently) having more in-depth mechanics for having a wife if your goal is to settle down into a happy little farmstead family. If you go that route, seek Elona+ G-Custom.

Palworld is a game where you can build farms. Breeding and farming is a sort of requirement, and you can go all-in on it, but it's not very purposeful unless you're playing on a server with other people.
>growing crops like tomatoes, lettuce, berries, carrots, onions, potatoes
>ranching items like eggs and milk and honey
>catching, collecting, and breeding pals to work a farmstead better, from the farming ones to the ranching ones
>cooking boosts production, you and pals both need to eat, better quality foods offer better bonuses
>can place a vendor and sell your food to other people on the server
If you're invested in breeding creatures, you can breed combat-focused pals on the side to actually play the game.

It's possible to play farm-centric in Dwarf Fortress, but honestly, it's not much different than just playing Dwarf Fortress but with an industry shift.
>multiple crop choices that each feed into other industries
>can cut off industries to focus on what you want, as crops can feed into things like cooking, clothings, dying, expensive crafts, etc
>high quality foods are extremely valuable trade goods and make people happy
>can seal yourself up and not deal with the outside world at all
>farming guilds can be founded to train new generations of farmers and attract world-class farmers

No Mans Sky. They recently added corvettes. You can fill a corvette with hydroponics stations. Also you can install growth bays on a freighter

>mfw exploring the galaxy in a farm that warps
