Welp this game seemed to have died:
>Combine MOBA with Battle Royale
>Season 2 released
>Only 800 players
>>
>>724116064
>Have the funding to make a coop experience
>Chase assfaggots money for n'th time
deserved tbqh
>>
>>724116064
there was way too much random shit
i just wanted battlerite 2 tho tbqh
>>
I thought it was kind of fun. But people are lemmings that can only play the top AAA slop.

The problem was that no one is actually interested in
>the mechanical evolution of the MOBA genre
when all that happens is you are beaten over the head with hundreds of hours of knowledge checks with the vague promise that the game will be somewhat enjoyable once you've finally learnt everything
It was aimed solely at hardcore MOBA veterans who were high challenger / immortal in League or Dota2 yet were somehow not already committed to that game
Which meant that an already tiny playerbase would only ever shrink as people got bored of seeing the same 24 people in the same lobby again and again.
No amount of comprehensive tutorials is going to keep new players there.

>ASSFAGGOTS
Supervive is just a twin-stick hero shooter, not a MOBA. It's like Battlerite, just not as good
>>724118982
Consider trying out BAPBAP. It still doesn't scratch the same itch, especially since even the full-on Battlerite ripoff map doesn't feel the same, but it's closer to that sort of thing and is free. Mainly, it's more suited for party game brawling instead of 2v2/3v3 dueling

I don't know much about this game but if you like MOBAs you should check out Shape of Dreams. It's a roguelike with MOBA gameplay where you build your kit during your run. The other night I had Darius' Q, Ashe's Q, Sion's shield, and an Attack Speed boosting ultimate and was having a blast tearing through levels till I got killed by a boss. It's a single player game but it also supports co-op if you have friends.
>>
Played quite a bit of it before the "full release". Game was really fun but the devs killed it in a single patch with out of game progression, and with stupid balance decisions like nerfing the main mechanic (spiking) of the game.

The first two heroes you have unlocked at the beginning of the game are basically Graves and Fiora except Graves is a lizard.
>>
I tried playing a couple rounds and it was always just boring NPC grinding and spamming dash glide over huge patches of nothing with intermittent clusterfuck fights that ended in 5 seconds
All the characters looked and played like Overwatch rejects too

>Hello I am [ASPIRING ESPORT] the new battle royale & MOBA fusion with hundreds of different interactions and level-by-level matchups you need to learn to not get stomped by the people insane enough to actually do this the moment you're relieved of the training wheels and bot matches
they can't have seriously looked at Eternal Return and thought directionless koreaslop was successful enough to warrant making an even more overcomplicated competitor to
>>
>>724116064
This happened to battlerite royale also
Gayme devs never learn, this sort of game would only flourish on mobile and/or only in china
>>
>>724121086
>>724118214
I feel like it tried to be too many things at once, and what it borrowed from MOBAs worked against it since people glancing at it would think it's a MOBA.
>>
>>724121452
I found myself playing almost exclusively in the 4v4 objective round-based mode or the deathmatch and dumpstering everyone as Elluna.

I think the main Battle Royal mode has too much focus on strategy in the sense that you basically pick a route at the start of the match, and if it's a good one, you're likely to win. And not enough on more short-term tactics outside of team fights.
>>
>>724116064
battlerite royale already existed and this just tried to copy it when it already failed.
I played it, it was not a great experience and awfully balanced, I just shit stomped people for fucking ages abusing the stupid healer lady with the orbs who did as much damage as any dps and could giga heal herself and her team.
it had many problems and was pretty jank
>>
>>724121631
nah eternal return is far more complicated, even the newer streamlined version is far more to take in than this game
>>
>>724125186
There's not much challenge until you hit ranked, but you have to get to like level 20 to unlock it. And at that point, I was already burnt out. So while it was more fun, it wasn't enough.
>>
>>724125365
I hit ranked, it was still trivially easy.
probably more context, I was grand champion in battlerite and was top 5 on the leaderboard in battlerite royale when I was playing it. I still play battlerite inhouses occasionally.
so I expect to be just mechanics checking a lot of the randoms I run into, but jfc I am not sure if I was playing bots in ranked or what but every game felt the same and just stomp after stomp, it was so easy to just find broken setups to abuse.

In fact, a part of me suspects that outside of ranked, you're playing bots in the main mode. I would dive people down with Elluna, the game's most dedicated healer, and just get away with it.

>>724125586
Well, this is the first game quite like this I've played, and in fact, I'm pretty sure the last time I played a top-down shooter was years back, and that was Furi.
