The Kingdom Hearts franchise has been and always will be an embarrassment for Square, the industry as a whole, and anyone who wasn't shamed enough to never speak about it in any way that isn't mocking.
I can't stress this enough: Kingdom Hearts has never and will never be cool. The fusion of Final Fantasy and Disney is EASILY one of the most cringe products in existence ever.

I first played KH1 when I was 13 and loved it. Then got KH2 and loved it. Played but never beat most of the other games besides 3 on release. I only really like 1 and 2. 3 was dogshit and had none of the magic that 1 and 2 had. 1 and 2 will always have a place in my hear but the rest of the series, I don't really care about and I'm not excited for 4.

Re:Coded has combat that has no right to be that good, it's genuinely on par with KH2FM in some ways. If they only like 1 and 2 then they are just fans of 1 and 2. but most of the fans can find enjoyment past the flaws in each game. No matter what you say about the story, it's still fun and enjoyable to go through the first time especially to see what kind of bullshit happens next. That's the fucking point. Seeing these characters get fucked or have happy endings. After seeing it once everything is so skippable which is a good thing. Multiple playthroughs are pretty fun especially when you put lvl 1 challenges on them. These are the kinds of games to do that shit with.
