The whole project reeks of the japs at Nintendo bumbling around and failing to understand why Westoids loved the original Prime games.Also, the Prime games were an excellent trilogy that wrapped things up reasonably well. Why add a fourth game that apparently has nothing to do with the first three.

The true Metroid fans never liked the FPS and the true Metroid fans are all what's left. Furthermore, introducing 3rd person elements akin to emptyvanias such as SOTC or BOTW, scares FPSkiddies, because 3rd person gameplay requires breakfast scenario levels of IQ
