Gameplay wise, the game is clunky dogshit, absolutely terribl. It's a low effort cashgrab, with the tease of fanservice even though there is barely any at all. The combat is god awful, compare it to any senran combat and it's dogshit. Even Onechanbara is way better, and they have the audacity to reference it with costumes. Holy fucking christ these games are evolving backwards. It's one of the only games I've pirated and immediately deleted after 10 minutes of repetitive gameplay. I was hoping there would be different combos and abilities to learn, but NOPE! It has the same boring combat loop with artificial difficulty, terrible stamina management, bullet sponge enemies, and weak combat.

Tamsoft/Marvelous/D3 has been making some real fucking steamers these last few years, absolute dogturds. Senran x Neptunia:Ninja Wars was garbage but not as bad as this. This is a whole new level of dog crap.

I considered the rocket launcher, but I figured that fit in more with the gatling and shotgun that have double fire rate/bullet count since I think black suits use them all.
I decided to do ng+ before doing endless to floor 100 since I wasn't sure if the unlock would carry over. Turns out even with the difficulty bump to very hard the game is way easier when you have all of your upgrades. Also knowing that when you peak into a dead end room and it has 2 fat guys and a bunch of dogs it's okay to just walk away and not fight them.

there are a couple that give you unique effects like your dash can damage enemies, fire a shockwave when you get hit, or your drones fires some free projectiles whenever you attack. But they all seemed pretty low damage.
The best ones are just the hp increasing ones. More max hp, more hp recovery, and free healing when going to a new floor. I'm pretty sure batteries are max hp based so stacking max hp and more healing gives you a lot more hp to work with. And it kind of depends on the penalty too; even a crap +5% shooting damage is fine if the penalty is just something like max pp.

I'd put it somewhere in the 6/10 range but that's me knowing what this is. This is a budget ass b- movie kind of game so you expect some clunky, janky feeling stuff. It being a roguelike helps it be addictive and get more playtime out of you. My issues were mostly with the presentation though. I've played a bit, it's fine for what it is. The black void is the only reason I won't buy it at full price. Might get at 50% off, if I remember it exists by then.

It's so strange how pointless the money becomes once you play the game. You are mostly blocked by materials when it comes to upgrade rather the currency. Seems like there should be more outfits I dunno anything to use that shit on. Also areas 3 and onwards are a bit annoying where you are fighting things and giant tops and marbles and whatever goofy shit is bouncing around hitting you and the enemies. I'm not sure how much this would have fucked with their roguelike direction, but I wish I could at least hold one more melee and shooting weapon.

I almost feel like that is a crazy statement, but while I have complaints I'm also still playing and intending to unlock Hakase so you might be right lol. I feel like I could really go for some significant updates/DLC or a sequel that really fleshes things out.
